If you're planning on trading those tokens that are lesser known though, do some research on DEXs.

Alternatively, you can see which exchanges certain coins trade on by looking the up the token on Coinmarketcap[2], and clicking on the "Markets" tab. The exchanges will then be listed below:

I think it's not alternatively, it is more important. When you try to sell the erc20 token on an exchange, can be going hard if there is a low trading volume. Of course, there it can be a restriction per exchange, depend on from which country they coming.
So, trading volume is a number-one parameter for exchange choice.

This file is really helpful to let others know about fake volume of current exchangers of this moment and this really proves out that we should always entrust to those who had real declared volume.

Regarding on the topic,if you cant find erc20 tokens on top tier exchange then most likely they are on DEX's. Etherdelta or Idex.

Also, you can check this token from coingeko and you will find available exchange for this token with trust score.

I don't think if this record is accurate look at the yobit from their list they put it in "Low Potential Fake Volume" which is lie.
Yobit is one of the well-known giving fake volumes.

So this is not a good list for me, it may attract traders to trade on yobit.

Well, a lot of exchanges ask for a certain amount of money for them to list your coin in their exchange. Secondly,the exchanges do their background check of the projects, and check how legit they are, how useful they are, and their community etc.

Binance is a reliable option if you are looking for a centralized exchange, although they may not have the most listing pairs given the fact that they have quite stringent rules for what coins will be listed. But what are listed will be liquid markets.

If you are looking for a DEX, I think that your best bet is probably Idex at the moment. They have a relatively high volume for a decentralized exchange.

But really, you need to be more specific about what you want to trade. Try searching up your ERC20 token on cryptocompare, and then going through the listed exchanges. They have quite comprehensive reviews for each exchange also.

So on what exchange? Search for your ERC20 token name and look at what exchange they are being traded.

Well the norm has been somewhat the same, a couple exchanges did remove the requirement of not asking for fees to list a coin, but other than that the norm for getting coins listed on exchanges is still the same for most of the big league exchanges. Etherdelta lists every fucking ico,without the permission of anyone so there is that as well.

This is apparently the requirement for bittrex:

Submitting a request on Bittrex requires all of the following info:

– Your coin name: self-explanatory.

– Enhanced Verified Account: a team member or shareholder holding more than 10% of the company, must have their identity verified on Bittrex. As with Poloniex, this saves the team time vetting.

– Description of your coin: What makes your currency different than the hundreds of others floating around? The Bittrex website warns “If your ANN thread only has coin specs on it, you are not going to get listed on Bittrex.” Have a clear mission and pitch.

– Coin Trading symbol: a 3-5 letter ticker that will represent your coin forever. No numbers allowed.

– A coin logo: Must be submitted in PNG format with a transparent background. Bitcoin’s orange tilted B is ubiquitous worldwide. You should have a slick-looking logo.

-A launch date: if your coin will or already ran an ICO.

-Github link: Bittrex requires the source code for their due diligence. They will not accept binary.

Additional questions required are: the max money supply, other exchanges you’re listed on, the official blockchain explorer, the TxFee, the results of a premine (if there was one), how money was raised, and links to your company’s social media.

ETH tokens require a few additional notes. If you’re launching a token through Ethereum and had the code on your smart contract reviewed, Bittrex wants to see those results, as well as your smart contract address.

Go on coinmarketcap and look for yourself. Search up the token that you are looking to trade, scroll down, click "markets", and there you will see a list of exchanges. However, just make sure that the exchange that you are looking at isn't shady, like Yobit, HitBTC, etc.

If you are willing to conduct KYC, then the amount of exchanges that you are able to use to exchange your cryptos is huge.

I personally think that if you're a newbie, then you can't really go wrong with Binance at the moment. They are one of the top exchanges, yet they are still offering no-KYC accounts, which is a rarity these days. Though, since you're new, make sure that you never use exchanges as a wallet. That's a huge mistake that a lot of newbies make.

- Binance
- Bittrex
- Bitforex
- Houbi
- Kucoin
- Hotbit
- Poloniex
- Coinbene
- Gate
- Idex.....

There are many small and new exchanges, you need to find out information about them before starting to use!

Other Decentralized Exchanges may need to add support for the token and in most cases they will do this freely after passing some verification etc... All you need to do is browse their site, find the application form or instructions.

There's a lot of Erc20 tokens in a decentralized exchange like IDEX, try to use it and find a most undervalued tokens.
However, I could also recommend Binance if you are looking for exchange where you can feel secured and you can trade daily since they have the liquidity.
