1. Bitcoin: The Bitcoin dominance have been on the rise for the past 3-4 months, which means that the exchange rates are increasing at a better pace compared to the other cryptocurrencies.

2. Bitcoin Cash (BCH): The transaction fee for BTC have risen by at least 10x during the last 3 months. If there is a further increase in the tx fee, then it can prop up the prices of BCH.

A week ago, I would advise you to invest in Bitcoin, but now I think this is not the best investment. Altcoins are expected to grow in the near future, the so-called "Alt season." Therefore invest in it.

Funny advice and more reason why one should not seek investment advice(what to invest on)from the community, do not expect to get a lead from any of them, instead you'll only get yourself more confused.
It's always best to invest in the bitcoin mate, no matter the drop, and a drop will always happen, most altcoins today wouldn't last the test of time and it's obvious.

It's wrong to advice one not to invest in the bitcoin, if you do not choose the bitcoin to invest in, then it's better not to invest at all.

I would recommend splitting it with Bitcoin and Litecoin. Here are the reasons:

1. Bitcoin is on a FOMO rally now. In just minutes, Bitcoin had risen its price to $500 and now hovering around $12,500. If you have bought Bitcoin while it's still around $11,200 few days ago, you could have made a few profit now.

2. Litecoin's halving period is fast approaching. I met Charlie Lee personally and was the guest of a crypto meetup in Taipei where the attendees have asked a lot of questions about convincing them to buy Litecoin now. When it comes to halving, there is no doubt that the demand of that coin or token will rise, and Litecoin's turn is now.

I'm not a financial advisor nor a technical analyst. I'm just observing the market on a daily basis, and the way I analyze is just on my gut feelings.

If you must invest in crypto currency now i will say you should focus on bitcoin and bitcoin alone for now as it has shown in the current trend. Bitcoin has shown that it can give good return on investments in some days and months to come. However, that do not mean that you cannot invest in other coins ethereum, neo and bitcoin cash that has done well too if you are thinking for long term purpose.

I would place 60% of that money in Bitcoin, 20% in Ethereum and 20%  Altcoins. I will not risk that money in ICOs. Look at the top 10 coins in coinmarketcap. ADA and BAT for me is a good investment. BNB is also a good pick for long term hold. Those coins that has high volume is good for dat trading.

Better to put your money half half to Bitcoin and ethereum this coins are stable and make you a good profit somehow you hold it.
You can choose binance also to trade your money and but some altcoins around top10 coins in coinmarketcap.

Remaining? That means that you have already invested in other coins or you are still yet to invest in any coin? I always recommend Bitcoin for anyone that is looking for a coin to invest in. Just like when I had not much money for investment, I still invested the little money I have in Bitcoin and after a while the price went up and got more than what I expected. It’s up to you though, but why I do like Bitcoin is because even if the price falls, there is more chance that it is going to recover. If you don’t go for Bitcoin, then go for the top ALTCOINs..

It all depends on your goals. Maybe you want to invest money for a long term or want to day trading. Your goal will have different effects on where to invest. I would distribute such a deposit into several parts. 40% in Bitcoin, 20% in eth, 20% in usdt and 20% in several altcoins (perhaps it would be a xrp, tron, stellar). But I repeat that the choice of all these coins is 100% dependent only on your goal.

I am surprised you mentioned about investing in real estate with a capital of around $1300. That is pretty impossible to make instant money with 1300 usd if you invest the money in real estate. I would rather suggest the OP to invest the money in crypto and in a coin that could easily give him good return. Bitcoin is something to look at right now as the price is rising.
