Beware of ieo exchanges

Now, a lot of IEOs are taking place on very small exchanges and many new users of our market believe these exchanges. this is a big problem

In my opinion, although the IEO offers new effects and brings trust to the community, nothing can guarantee the IEO can bring success to the altcoin market and the future of these projects. even, maybe these are traps. For me, Idax is not reliable. It is best to be cautious and pay close attention to many other factors.

exactly like was happening on previous week. project called Xcrypt was scammed by IDAX. the progress IEO on there are success. approx 20 million token are sold out on there. then, listing time has come. IDAX promised to list Xcrypt at 2 July. but unfornatelly they (IDAX) was broke their promise to list XCT on there. so be carefull with IDAX.

That's the first I've heard so far. Too early to say its a scam but if they are really scamming, they're are doing it at this very early stage. The bullrun hasn't shoot on its full speed yet. The user above says its worth $5M, that's really a lot. Normally, when a project does an IEO to an exchange, they are also going to add the token there.
 
You have to dig deeper onto this, an investigation first because I have a feeling that its not just the exchange is involve but the Xcrypt team as well. Both scam the investors otherwise an explanation from both.

yes, for IEO, indeed some exchanges are very disappointing because the exchange cannot make the price of IEO tokens go up, but it actually drops and even drops very badly (-2x / 10x), it is better to try IEO it is highly recommended to join a proven exchange like binance, bitfinex

Investing in IEO is not an assurance that project will be good. the project success relies upon condition in market, and what designer do with their project. IEO not implies we get it with no exploration since it is practically similar to ICO, and just platform which used to held it is unique

The point I like about this post is that crypto enthusiasts should be mindful about the exchange hosting the IEO they want to participate in.  Do not just buy into IEO on exchanges with low reputation or unverified exchanges which most times end up as scam.  Also, do proper research on the project holding the IEO, don't just assume it's a good investment because it's IEO.

Just find a good exchange and this is it. Unfortunately, it does not matter at all how good the project is, because if the IEO is held by Binance, every single token is going to be paid. Take part in IEOs on top 5 exchanges, and you won't manage loses at all.

If there can be issues with idax exchange, you should know you need to up your research on ieo generally

i don't think this is true. binance has successfully conducted the best IEOs so far. from bittorrent to the last IEO, ELrond has all been successful. i can only accept that Latoken and Idex has been the worst exchanges for IEO so far. they lied a lot about IEOs conducted on their platforms were successful where as they were Not.

Another method of raising funds and another way of scammers will fool people by tellingg lies on the amount of the raised funds. Well, it is true that all methods have advantages and disadvantages. What we need to do is to spread awareness and learn to manage this irregularity.

Yes this is true and the possibility of this repetiting itself is high as most exchanges will always like to portray a good image thus attracting more users. But in reality this is wrong and might lead to the downfall of IEOs or to investors losing interest.
In general, we ought to be careful while always taking into account the exchange hosting the IEO, the project, etc.

First I have thought that participating in an IEO project is a safer way than participating in an ICO project.  Because with the IEO project we already know where our tokens or coins that we buy will be traded.  But after reading this tread, I realized that we must be careful in choosing exchanges that participate in this IEO project program. Recently idax was successful with IEO CMA and XCrypt. but the team reported that IDAX committed a fraud of 10 BTC.
IDAX exchanges are dangerous and detrimental to investors.

I usually tell people that IEO is a temporary solution to a long term fund raising problem. The only reason why people prefer IEO over ico is because the exchanges usually guarantees the legality of the project, and the exchanges with good reputation are better at this, that is why Binance IEOs always sell out. I think the best solution is to accept regulations for tokensale, which is the best way to eradicate scam projects.

right, not all exchanges are good for using the IEO program because some exchanges only make the IEO a pump and dump program, which is very dangerous for novice investors if they don't know. So in my opinion, choose an exchange with the IEO that was previously successful

First of all beware of IEO on Idax. Please don't invest in any IEO on Idax exchange. Many projects has been scammed by Idax already.
Secondly,  don't just participate in any IEO you see an exchange. Please check out he trends of previous IEO's hosted on that exchange before investing your money. You might find out some important information by the just conducting a research on past projects that conducted IEO on the exchange.

The IEO participants will think for twice before they wanna dump their altcoin. If we are watching what happened with the majority of successful IEOs right now and that's true if most of them are being dumped especially a coin which raised a lot of money like FET. But the participants will be seeing the output of the price after IEO as the main representation.
