Satoshi was at Bitcoin Conference 2019 in SF, published only 2 days ago. Is Satoshi coming back?
Some in English, most in Japanese.

This might be a turning point in the Bitcoin mystery... is there any Japanese here that could translate the Japanese part? He is talking about his life and there are sure some really interesting information.

https://youtu.be/4suKcm82Qno

A transcript in English of the Interview would be wonderful!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

b...bb..bbb..but Craig wright is satoshi  Grin Grin Grin

currently listening to the interview. although I can't be sure it is him but it's an intriguing interview.

EDIT: they talked about him working with the military and other jobs he had including the one being an pizza hut manager(after working with the military)
they also talked about him meeting people who are well known in bitcoin community and the incident about newsweek him being satoshi. he also mentioned
that the incident with newsweek ruined his chance on getting a job in engineering because people taught he is some kind of a hacker. this are the things I understood
from the interview since they are talking about it in English.

I hope he doesn't reveal himself this so soon, I am rooting for his appearance when it come to a time a that Bitcoin is not affordable for the common people anymore, if the true satoshi is back and he has the 1M plus bitcoin, it could lead to the downtrend of Bitcoin, and that would take years to cover the damage, imagine how many years has it been for Bitcoin to be on it's current situation and then go back to being near zero again.

At the beginning of Bitcoin everyone was using his own name. Everyone. Some answers are simple. If the guy disappeared that means that he had a reason. The fact he goes at Bitcoin 2019, means something.
Maybe this Craig impostor has pushed the ball too far and got him upset enough to kick into it.

Poor guy should sue that woman who wrote the article about him for the damages. She thought she struck gold but all she did was find a japanese guy with the same name as the name the creator of Bitcoin used. A person who used encryption and wanted to stay anonymous wouldn't use his own name. Some people say that he used an anagram.

Dorian is a nice guy and I hope it goes well for him but he's as much of a bitcoin's creator as CSW.

If it states that Craig wright is Satoshi then I think this is completely fake or either the media doesn't know this yet or they are being paid by him to publicize his name as Satoshi.

First of all I cannot believe that he is Satoshi Nakamato, reasons:-

How hard it can be to log in from Satoshi's account and say hi am Craig.

He failed to prove in court about him being Satoshi thus he wasn't granted that logo .

He even failed to prove in court all of this holdings.

How can he be Satoshi ? If he was then why did the wait that long ? Also at the same time he is saying how Bitcoins SV is the real Bitcoins , seriously man ? He just wants to pump that up to make some profit.

Unfortunately this is unlikely to Satoshi. Many now want to be called by his name. But I think if the real Satoshi wants to be recognized, he will. And we will have no doubt about it.

Interesting. Even if it's "only" Dorian, I would really like to get an English transcript of the complete interview. Understanding this English/Japanese mix is difficult (even if he speaks slowly and thus some passages are easy to understand) if you're not even a native English speaker. Later most of it is in Japanese ...

I think however it's simply a media outlet that wanted to get some clicks interviewing him. It's however strange that none of the Bitcoin blogs has written something about that interview (at least, I was not able to find it at search engines).

It seems he is the real satoshi nakamoto. They are just talking about his life story and never talk about bitcoin. I think OP was just over exagerated knowing that Satoshi was indeed one of the key player that will unlock another success and block chain story.

Another speculation about Satoshi, I really thought Satoshi will soon put to jail as far as Craig Wright is concern. Bitcoin myster can only be solve if someone really have the full details about it, anyone can go to a conference and claim himself as the Satoshi who created the great cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. So many news/blogs like this and its hard to believe now on who is Satoshi Nakamoto I guess this wont stop. Stay healthy Satoshi, we're so thankful for your work.

I am really wondering how many people are making money out of claims on who is the real Satoshi Nakamoto is...there seems to be a niche industry springing to life here and this can go on and on because the real guys seems to be uninterested to surface and claim the fame reserved for him. Soon, there can be some kind of cult following for the creator of Bitcoin where speculations, analysis, myths and even legends about the man can be discussed freely and consumed voraciously. At any rate, let's just consider all of these as some sort of good entertainment.

another big waste of time trying to get some attention and video views up by hyping about Satoshi Nakamoto's identity and fooling themselves while wasting other people's time who actually go ahead and watch the thing Wink
in the end everyone will realize that Satoshi (the real SN) hid his identity intentionally and he is not going to change his mind at all for no reason. so he will remain anonymous.

Me too, and even all other person who is saying they are Satoshi Nakamoto, what I think is they are just people who wanted fame and probably wanted to launch coins like Craig Wright, bitcoin is well known compared to other coins so if they will tie up their coins to bitcoin by claiming Satoshi then they can easily get people attention. With this other person coming out, I doubt it if its the real Satoshi.

I want to say that also. The title of the video is also misleading viewers trying to use the name of satoshi nakamoto to gain views and maybe earn money from it. There's no english subtitle so you won't know what they are talking about if you don't speak their language. But that person has the similar caricature of Satoshi that you will find online.  Tongue

Still not convinced because of the following reasons.

1. That guy could be anyone. Even Craig Wright claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto.
2. Satoshi speaks in English. Just to think of Satoshi has a bitcointalk account and he is using English as his medium. And if he really wanted to make this interview be informative, he'll choose to do an English interview. Besides, there is an American(basing on his face and color), it's better to have an English interview if that's the case.
3. Is Nakamoto should be Japanese? What if the real Satoshi Nakamoto used the surname Nakamoto just for hiding his own identity?

Why are they all coming out like mushrooms nowadays, a lot has been claiming he is Satoshi and I think he is no different from the others. I think he might have another motive from behind and just wanted to gain more attention that is why he is claiming Satoshi now, not that i’m being judgemental but i’m so fed up with people trying to claim what isn’t theres.

The title should attach the word "mistaken Satoshi Nakamoto" because the world has proven that this is not the real Satoshi Nakamoto, but that's a good publicity for Cryptocurrency, but people should give the old man peace of mind because he has nothing to do with Nakamoto, almost ruin his private life because of that past events.

Why are they all coming out like mushrooms nowadays, a lot has been claiming he is Satoshi and I think he is no different from the others. I think he might have another motive from behind and just wanted to gain more attention that is why he is claiming Satoshi now, not that i’m being judgemental but i’m so fed up with people trying to claim what isn’t theres.

if you actually know the man "Dorian nakamoto" was a victim of false identity. he never claimed that he was satoshi nakamoto but a news magazine did called newsweek(which almost ruined his life and his family). he even told the media and hired a lawyer stating that he is not satoshi nakamoto and has nothing to do with bitcoin. the only time he heard about bitcoin was from his son.

First of all, the title is very wrong already. How can you be so sure that he is Satoshi??

I watched the first few seconds of the video and I didn't like it because first I don't understand their language (Japanese I think). Second, Dorian Nakamoto isn't Satoshi. He is just a victim here and he claimed it already years ago that he isn't satoshi. Just a useless 1 hour video just to hype the true identity of Satoshi.

another big waste of time trying to get some attention and video views up by hyping about Satoshi Nakamoto's identity and fooling themselves while wasting other people's time who actually go ahead and watch the thing Wink
in the end everyone will realize that Satoshi (the real SN) hid his identity intentionally and he is not going to change his mind at all for no reason. so he will remain anonymous.

And as usual all the people follow like sheep and all the media will pick this up and re run it a hundred times, and the same exact story will be covered in 2 or 3 years from now.

Everyone loves wasting their time, and in 2 years new generations will also be keen to waste their time

So strange of people in crypto isn't it?

And I thought we have finally found the real Satoshi and the real Satoshi have finally surfaced, this is fake news and it's a fake interview, his name might be Satoshi Nakamoto but he has no connection whatsoever with the real creator of Bitcoin, he is the real Satoshi Nakamoto.

Another dimensional rumor and falsehood! when will guys stop playing with bitcoin creator's identity, okay just for the fun of it! We are much more happy with bitcoin and we really don't need anyone laying claim for been the creator, it's way beyond a single entity now.

Quote
because people taught he is some kind of a hacker.

But he wasn't hiding his name while working on bitcoin. Or maybe he never knew bitcoin will go this far? This doesn't make sense.

So how about the so called satoshi 1million bitcoin. Why doesn't satoshi use that to take care of him self and forget about getting a job.

I am 100% sure that Satoshi Nakamoto is not Japanese,so this is fake.
By the way, what's that cryptograffiti.com website in the Youtube video description. It promotes crypto related art and one of the promoted stuff is a picture of an old Asian guy(the old guy from the video,I guess),who is considered Satoshi Nakamoto. This is fake.

I don't think Satoshi Nakamoto reveals himself to the public and publish the interview because I think he still wants to keep hiding from other people so he can continue for what he did. Unless he wants to show to us that he is a real person or group of people, it is not good if he shows himself to the public. But until now, many of us still find who is he, where he lives, but unfortunately, we don't have much information about him so I think we should let him do whatever he wants.

I'm not sure why people can't believe that people CAN hodl their coins without being tempted to sell them. If you have a decent income already, aren't in need of money, why would you sell any of your coins?

Satoshi chose to be anonymous for a reason. Selling his coins (be it on-exchange or on the OTC market) means that authorities are closer to him than ever before. I can only see bad things happen if he follows that path.

Another thing is that he might not have access to his coins anymore. Be happy that he made Bitcoin more scarce than it already is. He brought us Bitcoin and made our coins become more valuable. Smiley

This really sounds like something a journalist would do. A lot of them likes more being storytellers more than journalists.

Of course that if they wanted to be storytellers becoming authors would be a pretty good starting point, the funny part is that some journalists are trying to do that at the moment which explains a lot. Some do it for selfish reasons, like their name or for extra money.

The point is that i also agree with one guy at the top and he should wait until Bitcoin stabilizes a lot more to show up. That would be pretty epic if you ask me.
