I can see that price of bitcoin is going up after that dump occurred in the last few days so which might be the time for making our investments on altcoins because looks like altcoins were also just following the path so we will have new all time high price for most of the coins in near future.

I can't see any bullish move at this time of altcoins but if you want to buy some altcoin, of course, buy a top class altcoin like Ethereum, XRP, NEO, etc.

I've been also a holder of some altcoins and almost all of them are in downtrend due to the continuing bitcoin rally but I also believe that an altcoin season will happen again so I'll keep holding them. But if you have bitcoin holdings,then it will offset the loss from your altcoins. Altcoins' time may come anytime so if you are planning to buy more altcoins then it is the right time to buy while their prices are still lower.

I know the current price of the alts is very low, ETH, XRP, LTC, EOS, ... but I think the market will still undergo 2 further adjustments. The chart is showing that when BTC Dominance is up to over 65.5%. This is a sign that whales will continue to sell BTC to reduce its Dominance and the market will continue to shed blood. After investors fled, they would pump the alts and btc back. So, don't buy now, be more patient.

Well, i believe that's because Bitcoin trend seems to have a minor correction and most of these altcoins are following the trend of Bitcoin. Just relax and wait for the market to slowly recover since this is the nature of the market, ups, and downs are part of them.

Bitcoin gets down and altcoins holders getting a big pressure to liquidate their altcoin for bitcoin. This is not the time for altcoin but bitcoin is still controlling everything right now. I'm not sure we'll see new ATHs for alts any time soon. Yes we will likely see some substantial rises, and alts make take over the bull market once BTC starts to stabilise - but ATHs for alts is a different matter. The prices as the end of 2017 were really quite excessive and this marker peak-hype, when everything was really overpriced. I doubt we'll see that again soon. It will likely take a longer and slower period of rises before we reach that point again, but by going slower it means that prices should be more sustainable.

It absolutely they'll have a chance but the problem is how long we should have to wait for it. Seeing altcoins still at low, it eventually making way to give up and stop dreaming that altcoins will follow the level of Bitcoin today. I'm not surprised anymore that altcoins will stay at the dark cause investors never look it profitable than it looks in previous years.

And yes thats a big question on when or how long we should wait of altcoins be followed by bitcoin and etherium increase the price. And we look at our altcoins in folio it was sad that always be red. Actually we can give up and stop dreaming if we think the altcoins we have are going to be a shitcoins.

Almost every cryptocurrency user have bitcoin as primary holding and a big hope on altcoins as there portfolio is filled with more altcoins than bitcoin.

This time the growth of altcoins hasn't took a forward push along with bitcoin. More users have been moving all the investment from altcoins into bitcoin losing hopes. This makes me think this to be a time to invest more on altcoins.

Well, looking at market percentage of each coins which being mention above are not totally declining to pull off the trigger into investment. It needs a lot of time and patience which bitcoin is in unstable movement.

Once the bull run for altcoins starts, I am sure we will definitely see another new all-time high, and my expectation for some of them is that they go above the last ATH record that they have, because if they do, that could mean some millions for me because I already know the potential of some of the coins I witnessed their increase in the last ATH, and those increase would have made me a millionaire by now if not for the greed or lack of understand that I have then about the market that made me loose the increase and even my capital to the bear market, although my capital is still intact, but very low and almost close to zero, but I believe that their bull run starts when bitcoin starts stabilizing, which I believe it will happen this year as against what you said.

It seems to me that growth will be when Bitcoin grows.  Bitcoin pulls altcoins behind it.  And by themselves they will not grow.  It's my opinion.

Except you are waiting to buy at zero now, because most of the altcoins has bled so much that they are almost bleeding to death, so which time is right to buy other than now, anyone that is ready to make investment in any coin should better do that now, because altcoins season usually does not announce, it come suddenly and we don’t know exactly when it will start, the signs are already everywhere, many people are also preparing for altcoins now, so I think this is the perfect buy time.

I agree with you that investor’s needs to choose their altcoins investment wisely so that they don’t buy garbage coins and end up storing garbage coins in their portfolio, the best altcoins to buy are the ones listed as top altcoins on these large exchanges like Binance and maybe bitfiniex.
