Bitcoin and PayPal are two different types of platforms. There are many similarities to the two platform. Especially the transaction. So they're one but not one. Easy to connect them but not for a moment. You see Etherium like a bitcoin. But do not connect Etherium with Bitcoin. So do not connect Bitcoin with Paypal. Only the exchanger is connected to them.

You can sell Bitcoin with Coinbase for Euro and withdraw the Euro to PayPal
PayPal has bought some years ago the Braintree payments that accepts card payments and Bitcoin payments.

maybe the connection between paypal and bitcoin can happen, I think this is one connection that might have positive and negative sides. but I think this is one of the best digital technology collaborations if it is mutually beneficial and beneficial

In that way, you could technically convert your BTC to Libra, and then go from Libra to PayPal (if supported), so it's definitely going to make things easier. I doubt it'll be possible to go from PayPal back to Libra though, due to risks of fraud.
I don't see this become a reality, but even if it did, the route you are talking about to convert Bitcoin is inconvenient and would subject you to extra fees unnecessarily. Not sure why you made it sound like a great thing.

I also don't get why people are so focused on PayPal. They complain about Bitcoin's fees being like $1-$2, while PayPal charges you even more in fees but they don't complain about this.... It just doesn't make sense.

I sent a PayPal transaction valued at $30 last week to someone from another country and the fee for this friends and family payment option was just over $3. In other words, 10% of the total transaction value.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Is it possible that in future Bitcoin will connect to PayPal?
PP is not that much regulated by government, all they care about is profit so I personally think it may happen.
That'd be huge revolution, PayPal would introduce Bitcoin to the world.

What you think about it?

Unlike some others, I don't think this is an idea taken out of thin air. In fact, there has been news related to Paypal, crypto, and Blockchain in May 2019. However, I don't think they suggest that PayPal will adopt Bitcoin or something like that. As you can see from this article, PayPal is too afraid of volatility and is not willing to risk the kind of stability they currently have. At the same time, it seems like while they don't trust Bitcoin, they see the potential of cryptocurrencies, as well as realize the benefits PayPal could have from adopting Blockchain: https://www.ccn.com/paypal-skips-bitcoin-while-clearly-working-on-blockchain-and-cryptocurrency/. It's just that they are waiting to see whatever wins of this young market. and then they are willing to work with that.

I don't know how it will connect I'm using PayPal and Cryptocurrency and they are like  world's apart, you need to verify your account on Paypal by providing KYC and you can also use one account, it's heavily centralized all actions are monitored, whereas on cryptocurrency you are your own bank, you cannot chargeback.

Actually Bitcoin is not a platform Smiley Bitcoin's Blockchain networks can be accepted as a platform.

And there are no similarities between these two things. Paypal uses basically USD (which belong FED), Bitcoin is money itself. Paypal can be called some type of bank account, but Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. And it backed by blockchain. Has an algorithm. Paypal has nothing but record. All this record keeping by Paypal company.

And I think you couldn't tell what you think to us. I can't understand what are you really mean.

Paypal has strict policies regarding crypto currencies. They dont accept the use of bitcoins on their platform as a mean of any transaction.

Of course, that can happen. For now, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are not yet mature and still need to be developed. But most likely Bitcoin will be able to connect with Paypal in the future.

I don't think Paypal will connecting with bitcoin, but that could be possible if bitcoin can be accepted in many countries. I think Paypal will integrate their system with bitcoin if they think that they can get the advantage from bitcoin. Maybe they now are still learning more about bitcoin, and they will announce to their member if somehow they are connecting to bitcoin. But the chance for bitcoin to be used by Paypal will bigger as they can reach more customer from the crypto member if they are integrated into blockchain technology.

1. Paypal co-founder thinks Bitcoin's a scam.
2. Paypal has allowed its merchants to accept Bitcoin at least since last year if not earlier, so they're not totally against it. Why would they be? Tried to fight it before, but now it knows it can't be stopped.
3. They actually announced Bitcoin acceptance back in 2014, same as above point actually but it didn't work out.

Note: this is all with 3rd party payment processors of course.

I don't think so. Paypal is very government friendly service. It works like as one of the hand of government.Do you think they allow bitcoin to enter their platform? No never. They will never do that. Also when paypal service give their service (send and receive). They highly watch about their law system supporting to International law.So bitcoin?never.

From where you got that? Paypal is heavily regulated like any other payment processor, but Paypal is pro active and well above all others. Paypal will never implement Bitcoin in its system. Why including something 'pseudo-anonymous' while their motto is strongly avoiding, money laundering and so on. Maybe a 3rd Party will use Paypal (like Coinbase tried) but not vice versa

You talk about money laundering but look a tall the scams involving the chargeback option? I don't like that if I am paid I may not actually be paid and a chargeback can be made. With bitcoin, I am paid it is permanent and I don't have to worry. I also use bitcoin to buy things so from that side it is easier too. It works much better than paypal and have you seen the fees merchants that use paypal use? Like 7% ?? That is insane.
Btw money laundry is mostly done through fake business fronts and companies and not through direct currency distribution or trade.

Yeah but if they adapt their platform or part of it to run using blockchain it would be extremely valuable for them in the profit side and extremely valuable for the advertising of the technology itself and the possible implementations of it in the future.

I believe that it is not only possible but the possibilities of it happening during any point in the future are pretty high taking into consideration the growth over time Bitcoin is having and will have.

I do not know I do not think it will happen, even though paypal is not connected with the government, but I don't think Paypal will choose a decentralized currency. If they will choose Crypto to connect to their service, maybe they will choose some centralized coins like Ripple or Libra.

Sure enough, bitcoin is not in accordance with the motto and some regulations issued by Paypal. And both of them will never be connected directly except through third parties.

I don't think so, I used Paypal for a long time, but now I pay my services in BTC or another coin, is cheaper than Paypal because I only pay the transaction fee, when it comes to paypal the seller rise the price of their products to pay the fee to paypal and I have to pay some aditional taxes with my credit card

You see? They are competitors, so no, paypal will not add btc
