SUMO WRESTLING is it entertaining?

It's not as interesting as MMA but can be very entertaining for someone who is new to the culture. The size of the fighters can make a big impression on its own.
The fights are not something I would pay for but the whole dance and preparation and the way it is judged is very nice.

I've been at Sumo Wrestling events in the past and let me tell you that its actually a once in a life time experience. I'm not a local resident otherwise I'd go everyday. provided I could afford to. Those men, man! they were huge! And I guess that is why people go to see these events. Its a curiosity, a niche and people go there to be amazed more than anything.

And dude its the japanese, they don't like to talk or engage much with other people. Explaining japanese people or their culture is hard for anyone like me. as far as integration into Blockchain is considered. I don't recall seeing it anywhere relevant.

I feel the same. It's more of a spectacle than a sport.

Who knows, Japan is one of the leading blockchain hubs in Asia? If they see the potential of this sport via blockchain betting, they might consider it. Unless, they will be protective to their culture and leave the way it is. It is their legacy to the world so they might be conservative when it comes to modernizing its domain.

It's somewhat entertaining i've seen a match once but I wouldn't go as far as betting on it. From how I see sumo wrestling it's kind of like WWE but that's just my opinion since I don't follow the competitive scene in sumo wrestling.

Its very specific to Japan or nearby, maybe Korea I dont know.    It seems a reasonable sport to me but its part of the whole culture behind it also, it would take a really keen bettor to go into a sport outside their country like this and that they never do themselves.    It could be more popular I think maybe but I can see why its not spread so far.    Many countries have special disciplines that is not appreciated by the wider world.

I voted yes but I cant really bet on it, the biggest bettors are very regular spectators and possibly for their whole lives.

Sumo wrestling some quite funny for me is it because of a heavy body that two person fighting to be out in the line in the circle area
 wThis is  well known popular to Japanese people and they having fun of watching playing sumo wrestling.This kind of games can be called also as gambling because you do betting to the person you bet to win.this can be fun to entertain people watching this.this is a safe game than UFC wrestling.but if you want to bet to win big choose boxing to gamble this is what I think has a big betting.this is just for me.but well sumo also can win big money if there are many gambler bet for this game.but we all known that this is not a popular games we ever seen,only few are watching of this game.

I find that sumo is very entertaining and also part of important culture, the result of the match sometimes cant be predictable, its really suitable for betting, but the one that interested is really little so I dont think its going to be popular if its put into gambling site

Its a good Japanese culture and I always see that as an entertaining watching the previous match of youtube but I hope we don’t bully them because I feel bad for them for beeing like that, i mean they are working hard for that. When I was young I used to watch sumo wrestling in our tv, its my grandpa's favorite. I noticed you can already guess who might win for the round by just looking at their physical features (that's what I believe before).

Well sumo wrestling is entertaining but I dont feel betting in this kind of sports. It seems to me that its not really serious since its from japanese culture and the purpose is to entertain the audience.

Sumo wrestling is one of the sports which is entertaining, but I guess that it's not too popular than the other sports. But I think sumo wrestling can be used to place a bet since people are like to bets when they can see a chance to make money from one thing. Perhaps, sumo wrestling is popular in Japan since we know that this sports game was in Japan. Sumo restling is one of the old traditions in Japan and they are still making it alive. Though for me it isn't entertaining but for Japanese they enjoy it very match while watching. We don't know maybe gambling is already combined with sumo wrestling. As we all know many people enjoy more when watching if money is involved.

Its fun to watch but would betting for which wrestler to win is challenging  unless you are a Japanese who knew and followed those sumo wrestlers.  I have seen a documentary about them, I learned that this is actually a ritual for them. Its part of their culture and these sumo wrestlers are going to dedicate their lives being a somu for their entire life. I miss the information of the benefits of being one but it must be very attractive offer for someone to dedicate their life.

What someone finds entertaining is always personal but I like watching it. But after some time, it is quite boring as it is always the same...

I remembered my childhood days while watching SUMO wrestling and you are right. It is quite entertaining at first, fun to watch but the monent you used to watch it most of the time, you'll get bored. Seems like this game is not that popular now. I hardly see it in television shows now unlike before.

IMO, the odds totally unpredictable because not all Sumo wrestler can consistent for their performance ( there are few only)

I don`t feel so. Like, Geez! I am returning to my childhood experience when I have seen Sumo Wrestling. It is not anymore an ideal sports for I. Where in fact, it might have smaller gambler that will bet. I dunno if other countries love sumo wrestling because its part of their cultural identity. But for me, I rather to bet in NBA games than in sumo. I entertain to watch sumo wrestling but not all times and also in a short period moment.

I did not see any threads related to SUMO WRESTLING and I have been seeing that SUMO WRESTLING is a good sport. Every players are eager to win and the results could.be predictable unless those who had made some fights already and becoming a veteran. Yet, they too still lose.

The sports has lots of excitement especially that the players had different approach, styles, technique and ability. The better also strategy that a player will make the better chance of winning the match.

I am not so familiar with this type of sport even though I sometimes see it on television. From the first glance I don't like sumo because, for me, it's not so entertaining. Btw, any game can be integrated into the gambling platform. It's just a matter of the number of fans who might make sumo games very rare on the gambling platforms to this day.

Over 60% of Japanese will choose SUMO game over any type of sport betting you can think about. The game was more like a tradition, it was always a time for people with muscles to show their strength and most times it’s always aired on national TVs. Even though its been involved in crisis regarding manipulation of games results, this wrestling type has remained strong and unshaken in Japan region.

I was a great fan of Sumo games, I never participated in playing but I could sit all day to watch it on live TV stations but there are netter casino games now and I doubt if I can still sit to watch this wrestling game . Also the varieties of online game would even make anyone forget that SUMO games ever existed.

I think it has to make it to major sports news first before it can be considered by betting platforms. At the moment, I really do not see it that popular.

Well, the local betting market for Sumo wrestling is high enough. I remember watching a documentary about the millionaires who got rich by betting on Sumo wrestlers. Maybe if local betting sites target the sport, people can bet on it but I don't see that happening due to gambling restrictions in those countries.

Well yeah, it is part of Japan's culture, it is Japan's national sport so it is not a question that local betting is high enough and some may get rich from that but I think it is not a common to other countries to bet on SUMO wrestling because not all don't find it interesting and only a few from other countries who are watching SUMO wrestling.

Sumo wrestling is entertaining to watch, but I think I understand why other than Japanese betting sites do not accept bets on this sport. The thing is that it is not popular elsewhere, and gambling sites, for obvious reasons, prefer listing only popular games. The main drawback of listing an unpopular sport is that the profit of gambling site will be small if only a few people are betting on an event. There are many sport events that are much more popular than Sumo, and yet even those events are never listed, so Sumo is not even the first in line.

I am not a big fan of Sumo wrestling,sure it may be fun to watch but only for a little bit,after a while where to really big bodies just fight each other it becomes boring for the reason that the Sumos are not agile compared to traditional wrestling which is indeed fun to watch and there are a lot of moves there different from Sumo wrestling.

I think Sumo betting is particularly more common in the Japan region compared to Korean. It’s also in Korea but really more popular in Korea. The way Sumo game is known in Japan is just like Pro baseball, people assume it’s a game for people who have increased their body while gaining weight and then start to swank of their strength. It is one game that is highly respected  in Japan because they see it as the national sports and a culture that’s more of the soul of their citizens.

However I would like to say that I do not really find the game interesting and I don’t see it getting linked to blockchain for any reason. As a matter of fact, it got to a point the game started becoming less popular in Japan but because of the love they have for it, they made different efforts to bring it back.
