Why Cloudflare? Can we not run this service without this third party?
I have not seen Cloudflare going down in so many years. It stopped working for few minutes and you want it be removed.
Look at the date. OP created this thread in 2019, you made a post in 2025. He hasn't complained about CloudFlare going down recently, he complained about what happened in 2019. Btw Cloudflare hasn't been down for a few minutes few days ago, it was down for hours, at least for me.
I personally never had issues with CloudFlare and I'm okay with this if the pros outweigh the cons for this forum and theymos. Btw as far as I know, it will cost a lot and will be hard to maintain a manually created solution, so CF or similar service is the optimal choice for this forum. Btw does anyone know if there is a good alternative to CloudFlare?
