Barcelona surprised everyone by unable to beat Eintracht Frankfurt today, but if you look at the previous rounds, a draw can be advantageous for them. They finish the job in the game they will play at home. They eliminated Galatasaray and Napoli in the same way. I believe that Barcelona will pass this tour without any mistakes. If they want the trophy, they can't make a mistake in the quarter finals.

Eintracht Frankfurt showed composure and were able to break through Barcelona's lines. They played with vigor and intent. It was surprising how they held a deep low-block as full-time approached and were successful in keeping Barcelona at bay to keep the score at 1-1 even with the red card. Although Barcelona had more of the ball and finished the game on the front foot, Eintracht Frankfurt were arguably the better team on the night. I think Barcelona will need to improve their play to beat Eintracht Frankfurt at the Camp Nou next week if they are to reach the Europa League semi-finals after the 1-1 draw in Germany.  

Frankfurt almost destroyed Barca, and even though they were down to 10 men towards the end of the game, they still outperformed them. I noticed that the Frankfurt team is young and talented. I really enjoyed watching them. Although it was a difficult match in a difficult stadium, the result was not bad. Barcelona can be satisfied with a point, although not that convincing a performance from Xavi. Barca is going to crush them at home in Camp Nou next week. I expect Dembele to start. The player is extremely effective while awaiting the decision at Camp Nou.

Well today's games finished unexpectedly! 3 draws with 1-1 results each.
Barcelona failed to win as we expected, they even were 1 goal behind for more than 15 minutes, Leipzig failed earlier, West Ham didn't succeed to get 3 points also from Lyon. And Rangers which some here expected it to win vs Braga, just lost with 1 goal lol. Epic 1st leg but the good part is that the second leg will be intense and we might see a surprise or two

You are right the second leg is determinant each team will try the best to get maximum results where home team will be more confident because it previously played a draw
Competition will be more competitive because each has scored one goal then one other goal will be more meaningful when crucial
So far the European League participants have yet to ensure they qualify.

After having three draws in first leg surely it's not good for few teams but still a worth to watch Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham both done good job even having Red Card specially Frankfurt which play more than 16 minutes against Barcelona but not allowed them to have any advantage with now most chances they will exit in second leg match as they are going Camp Nou which is easy place for any team when you have more than 75000 fans around you.

Atlanta is also done good job against Leipzig which was playing at home against struggling team from Italian league, but they have done good job and take draw which can help them in next match for staying in hunt. With these all results it's surely great entertaining matches are coming in second leg with my own predictions are Barcelona, Atlanta, Braga and West Ham can qualify for last four.

As I said yesterday, Barcelona could have had difficulties with Eintracht and they did. Barcelona had more than 15 minutes to score, taking advantage of the moment when Tuta was red-carded, but they didn't use it. Eintracht played roughly the same game as Barcelona. It will be interesting to watch the return game. I think Barcelona could have problems at home as well. By the way, it was interesting that almost all the teams drew except Braga. I think Barcelona is not yet as many think in top form like they used to be when they had world class players like Messy and a couple of others.Now Barcelona is slowly starting to get back on track after they started to be managed by Xavi as their manager.I am not surprised at this result because I know Frankfurt at home plays strongly and they were much more motivated than Barcelona to win this game.

I think Barcelona is going to qualify only if they don't take Frankfurt easy at home otherwise they risk to be eliminated causing a big surprise in the Europa League.If Barcelona play seriously at home then without a doubt they will qualify.

Many people predict Barcelona will beat Frankfurt and the reality says otherwise, Frankfurt really put up a fight against Barcelona. It is very clear that

Frankfurt were defensively discipline. I was expecting plenty goals from Barcelona since they have been banging goals in their recent games in the La Liga. But yesterday, Barcelona played a really poor game. From sloppy passes, lack of physicality, lack of intensity and connection. It was really an off day in the office. If not for the introduction of Dembele and Frankie De jong, it could have been hard for them to even earn a draw. They were very lucky to come back home with a draw hope they improve a lot next week because it won't be easy either. They need to be very careful of this German teams, they know how to bang goals irrespective of the venue.

Frankfurt displayed a very good performance last night, if barcelona is not being careful during the second leg they might be eliminated from the competition, luckily for barcelona if not for the fact that Dembele was introduced around 62min, barcelona might have lost the game, Dembele was the one who turned the match around for barcelona, Ferran torres needs to improve on his finish ability, probably a special traning on how to will be very good for him

The results yesterday was really surprising. Spontaneous draws across all teams except for the Sporting Braga 1:0 Rangers. Even this particular game was heading for a draw in the last minute, you could see that Rangers later found there rhythm, were more in control and had more accurate touches within the Braga side of the pitch. Unfortunately, Braga proved that there defense could hold and prevent the game from going into a draw.

The desire you wanted in Barcelona last night really can't be fulfilled by Barcelona and any great club. Against Eintracht Frankfurt and managed to bring home 1 point from Germany is really very good for Barcelona's chances in the second round which will be played at Camp Nou.
The draw against Eintracht Frankfurt is also a positive note for Barcelona, namely the unbeaten record has increased again.

Huh? They did score a goal, great one too, but sure, when you get a team losing one guy, what can you expect except that they defend with 10 men? They did counter of course but read the reports and it shows they were defending and countering after the red card.

Barca did very well, this was an away game. They'll be very happy with the result.
