The game of Real Madrid is certainly impressive. Chelsea also looked great, the more valuable the victory of Real Madrid. Ancelotti is still a great coach, he has made so many teams champions, won so many cups, and still does not slow down. It will be hard to predict the winner of the Champions League this year. All the teams that have remained very strong, play excellent, open football, which is interesting to watch, well, maybe except for Atletico, which, as usual, tries to "dry" the game and does not play itself and does not give others. You may be right to some certain level but we must not also forget that Chelsea is a big club that has faced many challenges as it regards sanctions and what have you, if not that Chelsea will have given Real Madrid a runoff in the last match. I will best bet that real Madrid will not be able to eliminate Chelsea at any point in the championship.

Madrid and Liverpool have a big chance to qualify for the Semifinals, with a 3 goal win in the Leg-1 match, they only need a draw results for the next round, For Liverpool, it looks like they will play defensively like the previous match in the last 16 in the 2nd leg, for Madrid maybe they will try to adapt open play, because they very rarely play defensively despite being in a ood position in the UCL, except when they play under Mourinho.

If for Liverpool to stay I think maybe it will happen, because with a 3-1 win in the 1st leg it made their position quite safe and did not want to take the risk to play open even though they played at Anfield, maybe Klopp will focus their players on defending but will still do it to counter-attack to try to increase the existing aggregate points, compared to liverpool, madrid looks to have a slight weakness in their defense so if their focus on defending in the 2nd leg later of course it will make the chelsea players exploit the madrid defense and obviously it is very prone to goals happens, I think madrid will continue to play as in leg 1.

About Chelsea, if you cannot use the weakness of your opponent in football then you're not a footballer cause getting results was the reason why the club spent huge funds on players. As you said, it is hard to predict what will happen in their second leg but I think they are already out of the tournament, and as @masulum said they have a big chance to qualify for the semis.

I think with this narrow win you're making it too easy.
Reflecting on the performance in the previous round when they faced Salzburg I think this is very likely to happen again.

I also noticed that in fact the score in the first game should have been more in favor of Villarreal and Bayern were lucky to lose only 1-0. But if you remember the confrontation between Villarreal and Juventus, then in the first match Villarreal drew 1-1, and then won 3-0 away. Therefore, if I were Bayern, I would start to get nervous - Villarreal plays stronger away

The best teams in all leagues have the opportunity to play in the Champions League. No team is weak here. Each team is stronger. The team that can maintain its consistency, will not lose form, they will go ahead to win the title. It is not possible to do well in the Champions League if you are not able to perform consistently well. Since each team is strong here, a poor performance in a match will make it uncertain whether they will qualify for the next round.

Totally agree with what you say because I also see the performance of each team in the Champions League is always different from the performance in their own League, because in the Champions League every player is required to play better and consistently so that they can always look strong and have the potential to qualify for the next round with an advantage through aggregate.

you might play brilliantly in your domestic matches but then feeling different as it's a huge stage in champions league, it's often you suddenly losing your grade A form and fucked it up.

Well, I'm seeing Real Madrid as a finalist, I don't think Chelsea can do anything else, on the other hand Liverpool is very strong, it's a team that is showing that it never loses level.

All four played and I believe that I agree with the fact that only Liverpool looks as guaranteed as it gets. Obviously nothing is guaranteed in football, but all other teams are closer to each other. Real Madrid looks comfortable too by the way, they won their away game, and will be playing at home and will be much more comfortable, I do not think that they would lose from this point.

I mean if it was 1-0 or something like that then I would say it was closer, but it was 3-1 and Real has Benzema who is having the best season of his life at age 35, that is a big weapon to have. Let's see what happens, the games will be held in a week or so, quite soon.
