Well, it seems like something really new and interesting. But I was just trying to look for a Crypton rates and found not a lot of information. As mining and earning money is the most interesting part for me - I hope that soon it will be more clear and I could earn a lot on it!

I think that point is that Crypton is a quite new currency and its rates will get higher during the improvement of this exact ecosystem. More miners - more Cryptons and as a result higher rates. So on the whole, everything depends on us.

It seems like it's free. At least I'm using it for free.
But I've seen that some features require fees which are taken from your mined Cryptons.
Good news is that fees are too small and most of the features are free.

What do think is just kinda sort of bitcoin mixer?  

I like their proposal and the P2P transactions service and also transactions fees must minimal.

• Safe for merchants. Transactions in Crypton are final and cannot be reversed
• Merchant interface is readily available
• Freedom of payment. Send and get money anywhere in the world at any given time
• You are in control of your money. There is no 3rd party with authority to block your wallet
• Confidentiality. Your transactions cannot be viewed by others
• Cost-efficient. Transaction fees are at bare minimum
• Mining. You can earn simply by using Utopia with no effect on your computer performance

I found some info on their site. For starters, you have to choose the model to earn. You can get BTC as a beta-tester, contributor or promoter. I am a beta-tester, the more quality reports i will submit, the more rewards i will gain.

They're called 1984 Group LP well it's not about the names of the founders but the things they can develop and the anonymity and privacy they can give to us. Have you seen satoshi nakamoto? do you know his/her real identity? and yet look what's the most known and top cryptocurrency in this industry.

Development of our ecosystem in secrecy mode, non-disclosure of founders identities and entire UTOPIA team is a reasonable step in anticipation of what resonance this software will initiate in the nearest future. While working in anonymity mode, we removed one of the points of failure - specific people who could be a target for pressure for implementation of certain actions. The stability and security of our network is a top priority and we will do everything for this.

i have tried Utopia messenger. it seems like a really worthy alternative to Telegram. probably it is not as popular as TG (yet!) but it is surely more secure.
when it comes to the devs - i actually dont care about their names. the thing i know is that the product works just fine.

I don't really think that developers possess their service as a messenger mainly. What concerns other features it's really more convenient to use it on PC. So I think that's why the first version is like that. And then they'll develop a mobile app also.

When it comes to security it's hard to find something that will really provide it. What concerns Utopia I can't be 100% sure that it provides everything they say due to a closed code, but I mostly believe it. The beta testing period goes well, let's see what will happen next

Well, you're right, it has 2 sights. And I don't think that developers really care about what will happen there as their names are unknown. So they won't take any responsibility on em.

Guys, I wanted to enter my Utopia account on another PC and it's written that my username is not found.. Why does it happen? As I still can enter the account from the first PC.

You needed the .db file on your computer so even though you put your username on different pc the system will not recognized this you needed the .db file on the new computer to open it.

Are there any updates on this project? I came across it the other day and can't find any valid criticism of it. The project and network seems to be plugging away; I guess the community is just elsewhere other than on this forum. Is there anybody here who had successful experience with this project?

Edit: after further research I discovered why it never took off: the software is closed-source. You can't have a decentralized project with closed source software. The two ideas are incompatible with one another.
