They are out there again with all these scam giveaways. Those who have been around for a while knows these are all scams but for those who are new in this space, please do not fall for these scambots.

Commend your effort on bring this up at this time because these are well known scam attempt to many cryptocurrency individuals and investors, those who still fall for this cheap scam are those who cannot do a simple research on Google before buying into sending ETH or BTC. People will always fall for this because they think that, there's free money in crypto.

Hey man, no free money around Cryptocurrency, please stay safe to avoid be scam......... That should be the right message we all should preach now.

You can't beat my soul out of me!!!!, but, you can with my mortal body lol.

As if Vitalik’s Twitter User name wasn’t clear enough now … (Vitalik Non-giver of Ether). You’ve got to love how he merges the upraise in this sort of scam attempts with the end of the crypto winter:

Note: your first image of the three shows a tad small, probably something to do with using a table to display the images and the size of them themselves.

I remember seeing a lot of those tweets back in 2017 and early 2018. I am feeling more bullish now that I am seeing these scam bots again  Cheesy

This is a good reminder though and a timely warning.

With the high price, I expect more of these scams,  old school scammers are the ones who use such old methods.
Do not follow people randomly, check links before clicking it, use MetaMask and brave browser.
Try helping Twitter ban such scams by reporting them.

I heard that there are updates by social networks to prevent scams from using verified accounts.

Also sometimes you might see yourself being added to a telegram group you never had knowledge of. You then beginning to see different users give testimonies of receiving their own rewards.
I sometimes saw thus and i laughed, because i know they were all scam. I newbie would not have known this, which is why such a post from the OP is useful and can help forestall any of such occurrence in future.

I know this scam sounds stupid to a lot of us but if it didn't work they wouldn't be doing it.  There is a large percentage of people with below average intelligence that are extremely gullible.  I've even seen this same scam going on in Elon Musk's Twitter.

UniCredit Bank celebrates their birthday today! As a sign of gratitude we will be emptying buckets of money from the windows of our headquarters the whole day. To be eligible for a bucket all you need to do is to slip a $50 bill under the door on this random apartment. After that, go to the headquarters where your bucket will be waiting for you.

This is how those tweets look like if you think about it.

Yeah, and we will see such scam attempts as long as they will be able to find new victims. And we can warn people about it unlimited number of times and it still wouldn't help. Some people can learn only from their own mistakes when they lose money. Maybe for us these scams looks so stupid, but you said well - many people are just not educated enough or naive and want to become rich very fast. Though, when I was newbie I can't remember myself falling into such scams Cheesy

This made me laugh Wink
We don't have enough warning, there are waves of newbies coming to our crypto world without any idea what they are doing. They are the easy catch of the scammers. Then those newbies leave the crypto thing disappointed and will never come back. They will also tell their friends to not touch any crypto currency because it's too dangerous.
We need more warnings, newbies don't read and research, they just want quick money...

Hoping those newbies will use their common sense.

Not about the scam thing posted in the main post here but I have been in the heated argument recently in a Messenger group chat because of a ponzi thing. Forget what's the name of that ponzi as I need to dig lots of messages after that conversation to recall the name. Since lots of newbies there and I don't have a proof that the service they are talking is a scam (which honestly no need for proof), they teamed up against me since they were able to show a payment proof from their referrer on which I don't know if it's true or just a cover-up.

Sometimes, if a simple warning didn't work for them and still push for their desire to believed on such an obvious scam, I'd rather like them to experience the actual scam in their life for them to learn. Don't want it to happen but sometimes it's necessary.

The problem is that people come to cryptocurrency not for the tech, or for investment diversification, but to make easy and quick money.

There is no easy quick money in this world. Even for BTC holders since 5+ years ago it was hard. Even for me, holding for 2 years, it was hard.

Then those easy quick money newbies come and buy shitcoins, look for giveaways, airdrops, whatever, which are  mostly scams.

The rise of these bots is actually a good thing (err, not a 'wholly' good thing kind of good thing) considering that the same bots were pretty active back in 2017 and has served to be one of the bullish indicators for the cryptomarket. Anyways, it's easy to spot whether these tweets/posts are genuine or not. Having a quick look on the official handles of the services mentioned/involved is one way, the next one is just taking a quick check on the account who made the post. I'm kinda surprised that there are still some people falling for these bait-y retweets/posts but then again, greed takes us to places where we least wanted to go so yeah...

.....
Yeah, for us who have been here since 2017, can see this as a bullish indicator. Unfortunately, those who are new to the market may still fall victim to these scambots. It happened to newbies in 2017 and it may happen again to newbies in 2019.

I agree with you, and just like you have said this mindset of trying to get or make some quick money this makes the scammers job easy because we like shiny things and fall prey these giveaways, airdrops, discounted giftcards etc.
We urgently need a change of mindset if we want to put an end to all this.
