This tweets has been given an effect to the price movement of cryptocurrencies thus far. We have seen the price has been falling almost 10% on coinmarkercap, it is not good since bitcoin price has come out from the bearish market. Regulation or a commenting from US goverment moreover from their president will be past give an effect to the price movement. This statement just coming up when Libra coin has came, I never heard a negative news from US goverment against cryptocurrencies apart from SEC or whatever related to it. I hope Libra coin will never accepted by many government on this world, so as this problem will return to its original state.

You had a good point on that, I think the same thing. Hmm, it smells like even this huge businessman/president also feel threatened by the power of bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general lol. The logic is already pretty obvious, there is really a high chance for him to feel that way because for sure that most of his assets are based on fiat — crypto's rival — and he don't want it's price to decline or at least loss its interest from the people as btc continuously becoming popular day after day.

My insight for this news? I don't take his statement so seriously. I mean we already witness tons of people showing hate against btc and yet it remain standing. For me he is not different from the others, he is just another antagonist who can't do anything but to create FUDs because he knew that government can't do anything.

There can be many reasons behind it. First of all, not everybody thinks in the same way. What is good for one might seem bad for the other.
Similarly, if we think crypto is good doesn't necessarily mean that everybody else would take it the same way.

Libra is in the center of all these and has brought the president to put control in some areas. Its a level of caution for some excesses the coin might bring. There are some argument that libra may not have all the expected properties to describe it a cryptocurrency but want to ascribe itself as one. Well" obviously came from his thoughts the reason is crypto is money from the air and they if the illegal crimes like drugs transactions and many more with unregulated high volatility currency, so as president I understand their stand decision to ignore crypto.
