As stated, if there is a blocked player with a balance, that was closed due to inactivity for security reasons, and can be reopened any time. No player who is banned will have a balance because it would have been seized per our terms of service.

kinda makes sense if that's the case , but any idea if users are in danger in getting funds stolen ?
are people with no 2FA enabled at a huge danger right now ? I contacted all my friends to either withdraw or set up 2FA fast but guess you need to make an announcement regarding that

Majority of the users who rolls with huge amount does not have an account here, all they do is trade and then gamble with the profit they made and just repeat their process, so it is not a surprise that you do not see their issues here.

they aren't forum regulars indeed , but that doesn't mean they will just sit and do nothing in case they lost funds
I'm sure they would post something here or in any other gambling forum

We have attempted to contact the OP to get his Betcoin username, but have not received a response. OP knows there is no scam. There have been no legitimate players who were banned from Betcoin or you would have heard about it here. One thing we did note is that in his original post he mentions that he had 2 accounts banned, and of course if we did discover multiple accounts, they would have been banned, as on every site. If OP would like to provide us or this thread the usernames, we will be happy to comment further on this, but he will not, because this scam allegation is false.

As stated, if there is a blocked player with a balance, that was closed due to inactivity for security reasons, and can be reopened any time. No player who is banned will have a balance because it would have been seized per our terms of service.

We are currently reviewing the state of this potential breach and will provide more info as soon as we are able. Additionally, Betcoin has licensed to use the same software as numerous other companies use. All balances and accounts are safe as they have been since 2013. We will continue to update you. Thank you.
A u jocking? Have you contacted me until this day? Username!?Will not change anything ...

a very unusual topic , I must admit
what concerns me if the "password" field in the leaked database is a salted hash or OP has access to the accounts?
would have been easier if OP spoke proper english and told us what is his ultimate goal here

It will give credibility to your story. Unless of course you are lying. Then it would debunk it.

We deal with attempted breaches constantly and continue to improve our security each time. Everyone's funds are safe and passwords are encrypted (even we cannot view them). We recommend that everyone use 2FA, but unless someone has access to your email password, your account would not be in danger. Even if they did, we review all withdrawals for continuity, for example if there have been new logins or password changes. That said, this situation is being taken very seriously. OP did provide a player with a screenshot of his account info, but it was from February and we have no reason to believe that there has been any type of breach since then, however this is under intense scrutiny and a statement will be provided once that is complete. If anyone has any questions or concerns, feel free to post them here, send us a PM or a support ticket. All player funds are currently available for withdrawal, as always.

We see that you cut this conversation from March in a way that it looks like there was an unpaid balance of a legitimate win, however the '40k' that player won was sent within 24 hours of the win.

What is also being discussed here was another player who won less than 1% of that amount, who was caught obviously defrauding the site.

Although, it does appear that several months ago, you did illegally breach the site, we have nothing to hide as far as our legitimacy and we are happy to defend any claims you make. You still have not stated an account that you owned that was closed or blocked because that does not exist.

You can clearly say, this is my account, this is what was taken, please provide an answer but you have not done that.  That's because you were not scammed.  You appear to be a former disgruntled programmer who had previous access to the websites supplied by the software provider and no longer does.  You believe this is your best way to extort funds.

Deep has not logged into his account in 2 years.  Accounts are locked for security, but a player or affiliate can request very quickly to have it opened.  We know you already know that as you may have helped design this feature which does work exceptionally well.

Just give us an account of yours that you state was scammed?  You have failed to do this because it doesn't exist.  You were not scammed and neither was anyone else.  You clearly have accessed the software providers information and are attempting some sort of extortion.  You may have had legitimate access at some point but you know nothing can be done with funds or accounts or you would be doing it.

If you have the access you claim then you could unblock accounts, withdraw funds and essentially do whatever you want, but you have no access.

He might not be having access to the funds or the control panel but he might have cloned the entire site, good to see that you clarify what is going on.

Stop lying and return the money to all who are blocked by contacting them by mail !!!
Have you lost any money and if so do furnish the proof, there is no one accusing them that they had lost funds to the site or accounts being frozen, from what i remember TwitchySeal had an issue with the site and it is well documented here in this forum. Unless there is legitimate claims about funds being confiscated there is no point here.

I did not. I stated that the OP has credible claims that Betcoin/PlayBetr has suffered a data breach. I cannot comment on the scope of the breach, though it seems pretty bad from the info OP has sent me and offered to send to me.
Cheers mate, i understand the situation now  Smiley.

Statement from Betcoin
Quote
After an in-depth investigation into this matter, it was determined that a former programmer of the software provider, who had legitimate access, was able to gain additional access and download the database of Betcoin and several other licensees of the software.  After this relationship was terminated, he no longer had any access to the database and at no time did he have access to any company or user funds. This is a very serious situation and we immediately devoted all resources to it once we were informed of it.

We are bombarded by threats, DDOS and extortion attempts on a daily basis and each one improves our security. We are extremely regretful that this incident took place, but at no time was anyone’s passwords or funds in jeopardy. We do recommend that all players use a high-level password for both their email and Betcoin accounts and that you activate 2fa for additional security. If anyone needs assistance with an email or password change or setting up 2fa, please contact us any time.

We wish to thank all of our players who have been so loyal to us since we first started in 2013. In this new age of technology, you often hear about some of the largest companies in the world having been breached and unfortunately, this is how new security methods are created. But we are happy to say that, throughout these 6 years, we have never had a player balance or password compromised. We will continue to improve and refine our security methods and we look forward to the next 6 years and beyond of serving our great players. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know via DM, support ticket or email.

Pls, all about their shit company, bg,cb,pb,db and etc. Sum about min. aff. ~100 btc this is fact, no problem post the proof, how players frozen , how is their balance frozen how my friend? Else about poker? =) Very awesome story from log...
Since DarkStar_ vouched that what you claim about having the entire database, i would like to see about the scam accusation you said about the platform as 100BTC is not a small amount to get away like that and if you can provide the details without compromising the security of the users it would be great and hopefully we will get a response from betcoin.

at the moment really finding it hard to believe that players lost access to 100 BTC without making any noise here in the forums or in SBR
actually many people in SBR do recommend Betcoin
Majority of the users who rolls with huge amount does not have an account here, all they do is trade and then gamble with the profit they made and just repeat their process, so it is not a surprise that you do not see their issues here.
Is it true? I can't believe that it would turn to be scam. There would be no thread if there would be no deceptions. Anyway, I am hoping that this scenario will be answered or heard by developers of the site. It would be nice if they will defend their selves against accusation. Let us hear also their answer on this matter first before we react.
