I read that even though the transaction is verified and valid, the orphan blocks are not accepted into a network after suffering a time lag. Is that true? Can I recover my coins when I end up in an Orphaned block?

The forum strives to allow free discussion of any ideas. All policies are built around this principle. This doesn't mean you can post garbage, though: posts should actually contain ideas, and these ideas should be argued reasonably.

Orphaned Blocks are the valid blocks which are not part of the main chain. They can occur when 2 miners produce blocks at the same time or they can be caused by the hackers attempting to reverse transactions.

If you find your transaction in an orphaned block, the best thing to do is wait for your crypto to be recovered. Your transaction will go back to the queue and will be included in the subsequent block.

Your coins won't end up in an orphan block, your unconfirmed transaction(s) may.

But since you've already read about it, I'll just state the obvious~ish:
Since it's an orphaned block, most nodes will reject it and your wallet won't see it as "received" (1 confirmation) thus: (given that your node/server rejected it) you won't notice that your unconfirmed tx was included unless you search for orphaned blocks and the tx in it manually.
Your unconfirmed TX will stay in the nodes and mining node's mempool as long as it wasn't included in a valid block waiting for confirmation.

Also, today's usual orphaned blocks are almost the exact copy of the valid block with few differences in number of transactions and your tx in the orphaned block might be included to the valid block as well.

Check your balances' available inputs (TXID) if they have 6+ confirmations (if it didn't have, it already had more than thousand confirmation);
if it is, your coins are safe from this "issue" as it can only affect the latest block(s).

Can I recover my coins when I end up in an Orphaned block?
there's nothing to worry about occasional orphaned blocks
you don't have to do anything to recover your coins
your transaction stays in mempool and will be confirmed in the next block

An orphaned block is "seen" by the blockchain like something that never happened.
And since it didn't happen, another block will, sooner or later, include your transaction in the way you intended to send it in the first place.
Nothing to worry.
