I have been mining this coin for some time now and all I sell is that the rewards have been reduced more than 80% what I used to receive at first. Why have you done that knowing very well we have to enjoy this coins for some time now. Looking at the current rewards, I don't even think I would be able to cover up my electricity cost.
That's very sad. You don't have to do this in a way to stop cheaters but consider those of us who cannot buy high end mining equipment

Brief answer to that:
We use mining for distribution of Banano, a coin that doesn't rely on mining. It is just a mining faucet, and there are several influential factors we consider to convert mining contributions from both our mining faucets to payout in Banano. It's not going to be predictable, and it's susceptible to change. To avoid exploits and unfairness in terms of biased distribution we're not giving more details about parameters influencing payout at this time.

The idea here was never to make professional mining profitable, but give crypto noobs the chance to see how mining can work on an educational way, and enable them to grab some Banano without too much hassle.

If there is a way to prevent people from abusing your system, it should be implemented as soon as possible to make it easy for newbies. Moreover, your faucets are not working at the moment. When will they start working?

Hmm, we are implementing ways to avoid Faucet abuse all the time, for all faucets. That's what we are really good at, and something we prioritize constantly.

Also, all our permanent faucets (currently 4) are working. Our intermittently run faucets like Meme Faucet and Black Monkey are on purpose not running all the time. Just follow announcements, they are coming back from time to time. In August we have distributed way more Banano than in previous months btw.

That's nice but you have to do it in proportion to the price of the coins on the exchange. I was a gpu folder on the f@h client but I stopped due to low rewards and also low price per the amount I receive. I was closely monitoring the distribution process on the discord server. Will get back when you make things go normal again.

I used to mine Banano using my browser but it's not profitable anymore and I don't want to use the other way of mining thru my PC so I just bought some for safekeeping I still believe that it's going to grow and they will take up the path of MRAI or NANO now, they should set up more platform not just airdrop to gain people's awareness.
But this coin is good for tipping because of it's being feeless.
