How I almost got scammed

Wow! I most confess, I don't also notice the difference too till you mentioned it, I had to check twice. Just a dot and a (.) and (,) would have cost that amount!
I guess he have played this same trick on others and got away with it, he caught up with the wrong victim.
Moreover, I still think using escrow outside this forum means taking risk. There are reputable members here who would have offered such services in good condition.
