What is ZVChain

ZVChain - a foundational open source DeFi network is a high-security and high-performance specialised financial public chain that uses an energy-efficient chain-based hierarchical routing protocol, Chiron, which integrates the top two cryptographic cutting-edge technologies - VRF (Verifiable Random Function) + BLS (Boneh–Lynn–Shacham) consensus algorithm. It will also inherit this robust protocol-level consensus algorithm to provide a dual accounting system that complies with traditional financial logic and its vision is to build a Decentralised Finance Ecosystem for businesses and to simplify their business interactions in the future.

ZVChain was upgraded officially from TASchain, with over a year of blockchain development work. Our test-net is currently operating at https://developer.zvchain.io/ with main-net scheduled to be launched in September 2019.

As a specialised financial public chain, it has an extremely secure featuring complex encryption algorithms to protect data, and deploy as on-chain Zero-Knowledge Proofs. Many blockchains are not suitable for financial use, because they cannot be secure, scalable and maintain high performance concurrently. Chiron

Block creation is via two ‘mining pools’, a proposer and validating group. Members of this group are chosen by random via the Verifiable Random Function (VRF). The proposal group proposes blocks  to the Validating group, which then validates blocks before broadcasting this block to the blockchain. Hence, at any one time, only one validator group is creating blocks for a random amount of time. As participants of these groups are random, it requires an attacker to own at least 95% of all nodes in the network. The implementation of the BLS threshold signature scheme guarantees that blocks will be created consistently, providing constant uptime. A linear relationship between rewards for staking nodes disincentives malicious nodes, protecting the network.


What can you do with ZVChain & ZVCoin (ZVC) ?

ZVChain is a financial blockchain that serves to allow enterprises to build financial applications on top of the main chain.
These are the services that you can expect from ZVChain:

ZVWallet: An easy to use app to allow consumers to easily transfer assets peer-to-peer allowing cross border remittance.
Asset Tokenization: Physical assets can be tokenized on the ZVChain platform.
Supply Chain Finance: ZVChain will act as an intermediary between Supplier and Buyers, providing buyers credit to purchase goods from a supplier on their behalf. This allows buyers to purchase goods on a lower credit term and suppliers to quickly receive working capital. Transaction costs will be distributed to participants in the network.
Financial Leasing: Financial Leasing companies can purchase assets on the blockchain on behalf of their clients, and the clients can make recurring payments for the assets purchased while still enjoying ownership of the asset.
Cryptocurrency fund: Fund managers can deploy cryptocurrency hedge funds on ZVChain.
Credit & Lending: Individuals can use ZVChain to provide liquidity to lenders. Lenders can lock their collateral directly onto ZVChain.

Yes that's right. 

For github and developer portal, you can locate it on https://www.zvchain.io/.

For our participants participating in test network, the distribution of main-net tokens will be done in proportion to total test coin mined.
The total allocation for this distribution will be decided soon.

Once the program starts, all participating in test network will participate as both proposer and verifier stage. Selected randomly through a VRF and BLS after.
