I don't think it is possible for ethereum capitalization to beat bitcoin even though Eth chooses the path for POS on their blockchain, not sure it will be that strong, even though I also hold Eth and invest there, but I don't feel sure ETH capitalization will defeat bitcoin or even about their trading volume

Ethereum will surely increase in value after the POS implementation but it can't beat that of bitcoin and I don't think ETH can grow that bigger on it's own but there will be more adoption rate because it's a trusty project many will want to buy and stake

Right, this isn't really responsible investment advice from an influencer, and talk of flippening usually starts near the top so i don't have a good feeling about this.
I don't follow Balina myself and i have heard he mostly used his influence to pump small caps but this sounds like a really weirdly irresponsible call.

Two very valid points have been made here. Eth was good basically because of smart contracts and dapp creation, but the real question still remains what 'is' so good about eth [now]. There are many smart contract platforms now rivaling ethereum and that's not mentioning the multiple PoS solutions being paraded on the open market. So, except ethereum's new solutions are epic, it will just end up being another shitcoin. And your last argument about people knowing cryptocurrency because of bitcoin couldn't be truer. Bitcoin makes more headlines than any other cryptocurrency and as a matter of fact, everyone is more concerned about the price of BTC and the minor or major changes coming (to include halving), to help determine the direction of the market.

More so, the asymmetric market dominance (bitcoin vs all other coins), kinda makes it hard for ethereum to compete.

honestly, ian balena just a stupid person for me right now. since he and his stupid ico make a mistake on sparkster ico a few years ago.
also about ETH it self, i am a ETH holics but, so far i dont see eth will beat btc just because ETH V2. its a 10x times for beat btc market cap for eth, so that mean , eth will go to $1300++ for beating btc from the top 1.
