The title says it all. Say one of the forum user seems fishy. Assume, he has started a probable scam ICO. Can I create a flag for him? Sending negative tag other than DT members doesn't work.

You can create a type 1 flag if you believe it's appropriate (according to its description):

"Due to various concrete red flags, I believe that anyone dealing with this user has a high risk of losing money. (This flag will only be shown to guests/newbies.)"

You can also just create a thread or ask a DT directly to tag him.

Thank you tryninja.
I thought flag can only be created after a scam happens which sometimes really stupid.
I will create threads for the attention of DT to tag them. Thanks again.

It's good to see users are stepping up to prevent scamming in the forum. I left a merit as an encouragement. Hope to see some investigation with some solid flags so that I can support them.

Anyone can create flag type one if they see a warning. You already got the same response from TryNinja. Just avoid not to create a flag type 2 and 3 if you are not a direct victim however feel free to bring anything unusual if you notice in front of DTs so that they can at least tag the user.

Type-1-flags only can be seen if users have total log-in time less than 7 days. When their log-in time surpasses 7-days, they will not see type-1 flags. It means they have to dig deeper into trust feedback in order to see what's going on with projects that have OPs flagged with type 1. Type-1 flags are also called as Newbie-Flags.

You need to prove that the user can't be trusted so when you raise a flag (type 1) make sure you state your reasons to back the accusation up
