Basically this is something that will get your house edge down and you could fight for a better chance to win. Just to give an insane example, I once got banned for 3 days for following 100 people in a day, that part is understandable and that makes sense, you wouldn't want spammers and I wanted to just increase my follower count by following others and getting follow backs in return, but you can be temporarily banned for 3 days and that makes sense. You know what I did in return? After that 3 days ended, I just arranged a bot to follow 20 people per hour forever, gave it a list and it reached well over 10k follows, got above 1k follow backs in return as well, all of which was allowed by twitter without any problem. So in one place I got banned for 3 days for following 100 people, in another I got away with 10k, obviously they ban willy nilly without proper reasoning.
