Very strong comeback by Ireland after a disappointing first session. McCarthy and McBrine done good job which is going to give them win in this test as well now we have 15 overs left in first day of play which is important for both teams because Ireland will try to have some good foundation of their batting which will help them for having good control in rest of the game as well.

The two Zimbabwean openers started their innings very responsibly. So I thought Zimbabwe would collect big in this match. Zimbabwe's collection from the opening pair was 97 runs. Joylord Gumbie returned to the dressing room after collecting 49 runs. And Prince Masvaure's collection was 74 runs. After starting the innings so well, Zimbabwe's innings stopped at just 210 runs. After losing the wicket of Sean Williams, Zimbabwe lost wickets very quickly. I didn't think Zimbabwe's middle order batsmen would bat so stupidly against Ireland.

Ireland's two bowlers Barry McCarthy and Andy McBrine bowled very well in this innings. Both took three wickets each. The match was delayed due to rain. Ireland couldn't get their batting going on the first day. I don't think the pitch is completely batting friendly. So if Ireland's batsmen can bat responsibly, they can take a lead of 100+ runs.

Joylord Gumbie took a personal 49 just one run away from his half-century and is doing well on his debut. From the point of view of experience, Zimbabwe has played Tests much earlier than Ireland, so I will definitely put Zimbabwe ahead in the only Test match. Ireland have some good bowlers in ODI cricket and they playing today, but their experience is not useful now, they must use the experienced to take control of the match. Well, Zimbabwe is currently facing a big tragedy in the field. Zimbabwe was in a very good position. But between scoring 193 to 198, Zimbabwe had lost four wickets. So Zimbabwe lost their eighth wicket at 198. This does sound pretty unbelievable, to be honest. I was thinking that Zimbabwe is going to play out the whole day and maybe even play for over at the start of the next day. But now it seems like Zimbabwe is not going to play out the first day. There is a very big chance that they will be all out before that. Zimbabwe has been able to get to 200 when i seeing them to play then I go outside. I was thinking they are going to get close to 300 before ending their inning. But now 250 looks like a mile away & when I came back to monitor again i just shocked to see 210 they got all out lol. Great job by the Ireland bowling unit by the way. It was a great comeback from them from a pretty difficult situation. Now they will look to finish the job as quickly as possible.

Zimbabwean team were looking better side especially in early stages of the match but as soon as they lost Thier main wicket of P. Masvaure things got really messy for them and it's really difficult for them to control and hold on situation, to be honest compared to Zimbabwean team Ireland has much more stable and experienced Line up so I taught Zimbabwe will make things a bit difficult for Ireland after scoring 300+ in this first innings before they lose most of those wickets but they lose thier entire wickets at 210 which isn't a tough target to be chased for Ireland and also Zimbabwean didn't have any experienced quality pacer rather then blessing muzarabani so I don't believe Zimbabwe will restrict them below 400 as they will took lead too. Let's see how they can manage things

I don't think this test match (the Zimbabwe Ireland one) would be that interesting but we have another interesting match lining up in just a few hours time.
Yes, Today after the some time, we will see the match between Bangladesh A and Pakistan A, they both played against each other before some days in which we have seen an easy win for the Pakistan A team. Also, the Pakistan batting is too good as their three batsmen made full centuries while one batsman even hit 200 in a single innings, what a performance.

This match will most probably be won by the Pakistan A team once again because as we know that this is the Pakistan's best A team so far and I am sure after this series, many players from this team may get selected for the main squad of Pakistan team.

As we know they have played two matches already. And England has won both. And I think they will win the third one too. I see no chance of West Indies winning. West Indies suffered a humiliating defeat by an innings and 114 runs in the first Test match at Lords. The performance of the batsmen was terrible in this match. In the second Test match, we saw an improvement in the performance of the West Indies batsmen in the first innings. West Indies batsmen scored 457 runs. But in the second innings West Indies batsmen collected only 143 runs. As a result, the West Indies team was defeated by a huge margin of 241 runs.

West Indies' main weakness is the erratic performance of their batsmen. England's batsmen are in very good rhythm. So if West Indies want to win or draw then West Indies batsmen must bat well. There is no alternative.

Really pathetic performance from the Zimbabwe batsmen. They were 193/4 and then collapsed to 210 all out. And this time they had a number of very experienced batsmen in their playing XI, such as Craig Ervine and Sean Williams. Sikandar Raza was absent, but he can't rescue the Zimbabweans every time in need. Andy McBrine triggered the collapse when he nabbed Sean Williams and Clive Madande in consecutive balls. And then Mark Adair and Barry McCarthy cleaned up the tail.

The Zimbabwean team scored 210 runs on the first day by batting all out. Although the team did not score too many runs, Ireland bowled well due to which they easily bowled out Zimbabwe. If the batsmen are not able to bat well in the test match then it is definitely harmful for the team as the runs will be very less. However, on the second day, the island team will go on the field to meet the target of 210 and they will meet the target and give Zimbabwe a big lead again. And I think in this test match maybe Ireland team will be much ahead compared to Zimbabwe because Ireland team can perform much better than Zimbabwe.

I don't understand the point in having just three teams in second division test cricket. Ideally there should be at least 8 teams. Apart from the existing ones (Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan), they can add Scotland, Netherlands, Nepal, Namibia and USA. Anyway, at this point, Zimbabwe has got a good start. They are at 65/0, without the loss of any wickets. Prince Masvaure and Joylord Gumbie are at the crease.

I think the Zimbabwe team had to play slow that time, I am pretty sure if they would not play fast and -play slow that time, then might their team would have been alive in the test and would bat tomorrow and give a good target but they have all out just because of one mistake.



As we know, the Joylord Gumbie  and Prince Masvaure gave them a very great start but they have to maintain it, the openers has done their responsibility but when the middle order was started then back to back wickets were falling. To manage that Prince Masvaure started to play fast but he lost his wicket too so we cannot blame to Prince Masvaure  because he made the highest score in the team.
