This was a really great chance for WI to win a test probably after the defeated Australia sometime back(Could be wrong), but they messed up badly thanks to Maharaj, Rabada and their own batsmen playing like crap.

Seales has become my favorite WI bowler these days thanks to this wicket taking consistency. Anyway, congrats SA for a well deserved test series win.

All the efforts by Jayden Seales go in vain when their batsmen fail to deliver and West Indies lose the test as well as the series. Rabada and Maharaj along with Mulder and Piedt damaged the West Indies batsmen and didn't let them make the winning score.  West Indies were 40 runs short and in test matches it is not much big margin, hence we can conclude that it was a close finish (something that was enjoyable for the spectators to watch) 
Next we have T20 series lineup in this South Africa tour to West Indies.

Good job done from WI bowlers to restrict SA on 246 when it looked like they were on way to give 300+ runs lead which would have been psychologically demotivating for WI but 263 runs were chaseable and it was failure on WI batsmen. 

There is no doubt that the West Indies bowlers have done very well. Especially Jayden Seales bowled well in both innings. Jayden Seales picked up 9 wickets in two innings. And Joseph took 5 wickets in the first innings. Due to the controlled bowling of these two bowlers, the South African batsmen cannot provide a big target. South Africa lost all the wickets in the first innings to collect only 160 runs.

While the West Indies bowlers did well, the performance of the West Indies batsmen was erratic as usual. And West Indies' only weakness in the Test format is erratic batting by the batsmen. This match was no exception. The West Indies team lost because the West Indies batsmen could not bat well.

West indies had a chance to prove themselves perfect with a good performance in the second innings when west indies bowler J. Seales took six wickets of South Africa in which west indies very good batsman lose own wickets at the hands of J. Seales.    In the second innings too, South Africa run target was not so good but unfortunately west indies could not meet their run target. 

What is to be seen now is the T20 match of the three-match series between these two teams which will be played on August 30. Now west indies has another chance to defeat South Africa in this T20 match if they bring in some improve then surely west indies can beat South Africa in T20 match because west indies have very good bowlers which they can take advantage of to beat South Africa.

While West Indies start the chase I was also expecting good performance from their batting lineup as pitch was also now having some support for the batsmen but as we have 104 for 6 I give this to South Africa because Jason Holder is always crucial person for the West Indies, and he can bring some life in this bubble before burst but this time we have early wicket for the South Africa with match and series as well.

West Indian now surely having the lowest level in test matches as now after losing this series they are at the 9th spot in ICC World Test Championship with 18.52 points and Bangladesh is having 25 points after playing 4 test matches.

This type performance is surely bringing red-ball format into bizarre situation ICC and WICB needs to think about this and try to have last tried for improvement before it's all-time end.

West Indies vs South Africa, 2nd Test is Still ongoing. In the 1st Innings, RSA opted to bat first but their performance were very lower than i expected. They collected total 160-10 runa where they lost 3 wickets at 20-3 runs and lost 9 wickets at 97-9 runs. Shamar Joseph just destroyed them by hunting 5 wickets alone. Besides same situation was seen in west indies team. They all out within 144-10 runs. But in 2nd inngins, rsa developed themselves a little bit and able to score decent runs. Aiden Markram(51) and Kyle Verreynne(59) both of them did half century this time. Although rest of players performance were same dumb as before. Well they have scored 246-10 runs this time and west indies team already in the Field and yet they have collected 200-8 runs. They don't have good batsman and they still need 63 runs to win which will be very challenging for them. RSA supposed to have more chance to win this match IMHO

The players of the West Indies team could not perform keeping the wicket under control, that's why they had to lose in this second test match. Although they drew in the first test match, the chances of winning this second match were very high. 
Meanwhile, South African team players did not perform well in the first innings of the second match, but in this second innings, South African team players performed best. But West Indies team players failed on both fronts, West Indies lost by 40 runs.

Because in the first match there was no control of the batting pitch, so the number of wickets fell by both the teams. If Keacy Charty and Alick Athanaze could have scored a little more runs, this match would not have been lost by just 40 runs. Because in this match West Indies team had enough chance to win but they performed unsuccessfully from the beginning.

Meanwhile, South African team players did not perform well in the first innings of the second match, but in this second innings, South African team players performed best. But West Indies team players failed on both fronts, West Indies lost by 40 runs.

West Indies lost the match due to a poor performance from the start, although the first Test match was drawn and South Africa won the second match. West Indies lost this match due to the team's laziness, who performed well in the first Test match and showed worst batting performance in the second match.

That is why the West Indies team lost in the second match and the experienced batsmen of the South African team won. Even if we compare the squads of the two teams, I think the players of the South African team are the most experienced.

What is to be seen now is the T20 match of the three-match series between these two teams which will be played on August 30. Now west indies has another chance to defeat South Africa in this T20 match if they bring in some improve then surely west indies can beat South Africa in T20 match because west indies have very good bowlers which they can take advantage of to beat South Africa.

Correction, the three T20Is will be played between August 23-27.

I'd rate WI team better in T20 format than test or ODI, despite whatever they did in t20wc and also from SA's side QDK and Miller will be missing out, so I'd like to put WI on top.

Sri Lanka touring them at home so another chance to improve their numbers. It won't help much, in the context of WTC though.

Kiwis seem to repeating the 1st WTC cycle scenario, well kinda. India looks favorite unless they fumble against Ban and NZ (5 home tests). Aus is a favorite too and should strengthen their position in much hyped BGT.

West Indian batting is having huge flaw which needed to be fixed for their survival in test matches because without improvement in technique and performance things can't take changes as we have start of the match things were looking clearly favourable for them to have good performance, but their batting in both innings bring them down, and they were not able to chase target of 263 and lost this test match and series by 40 runs.

After having the worst performance in first inning their performance in second inning were also not good as we have the highest scorer 8th no batsman Gudakesh Motie with 45 runs no other batsmen were able to have something positive Mulder, Rabada and Keshav Maharaj done impressive job and seal another series win for their team here in the Caribbean.

Muhammad Rizwan and Sarfraz Ahmed both are the wonderful wicket-keeper and also both are very experienced. Also, both have the experience of being vice-captain for Pakistan but there is no one who is happy with Shan Masood captaincy. Not only players, the audience is also very unhappy with his captaincy due to his performance in the last matches. He don’t deserve to even play in the test matches but he is leading them.

Shan Masood is very excited to play with 6 legendary pacers and bowlers, that Pakistan have as per different Sports News sources. I think in this series, the  Pakistan team don’t have much good batsmen except Babar Azam and one or two others.

Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Khurram Shahzad, Abrar Ahmed, Mir Hamza, Muhammad Ali, Khurram Shahzad , Aamer Jamal and the last one Kamran Ghulam. Pakistan has a wonderful bowling attack as we have bowlers names. I think just Aamir Jamal, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah were also able to defeat  Bangladesh in this series as well because Bangladesh is on of the weakest team.

The first match between Bangladesh and Pakistan has moved to Rawalpindi from Karachi due to certain reasons. As we know, the series is going to start from 21st August between Pakistan and Bangladesh and the first match hosts by the Karachi and the second one by Rawalpindi but now it has changed due to constructions work.

In the Karachi National Stadium, there is construction work that is why PCB had to change the play. However, the good news is the tickets are not wasted, they could attend the matches but have to go to Rawalpindi to watch this game live. Not everyone who bought the wicket can move between cities. I think PCB should also announce the refund of money to those who cannot go to Karachi to watch this match.

First test game of West indies and South Africa team was ended in Drawn mode and but in this game I bet on South Africa team for win but unfortunately this was not happen but in 2 nd game again I chose this team South Africa team. I blindly bet on this team to win this game. But during playing this game when south Africa batsman completed their first lineup I feel some doubt because they made only 160 runs but their bowlers helped their team very well and they bowled out all Batsman of West indies in 1 st Inning for 144 runs. Markam and Kyle both performed brilliantly in 2 nd line up. Markam made 51 runs and Kyle batsman made 59 runs. Mulder got a player of game award because he took down 4 wickets in 1 st Inning and in 2 nd inning, he took down 2 wickets. Congratulations South Africa team for this amazing win.

West Indies lost the second Test match against South Africa by 40 runs due to their poor batting performance. The West Indies team did not bat very well and if they could have maintained their game they might have had a chance to win. But South Africa put on a good bowling performance with Keshav Maharaj and Kagiso Rabada putting on a great bowling line which allowed them to put West Indies under pressure very easily. If every batsman of West Indies could have played a little better then they might have had hope of winning the second test match but only Gudakesh Motie has batted a little better. However, as South Africa are currently leading the series in the Test match, the next match will surely be a great game between the two teams and both teams will try their best.

Gill was the opener in the last tour but this time he'll bat at number 3 and he has to fill Pujara's shoes (He played a major role in the previous 2 tours).

First, Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj and Dane Piedt continued with their good form with ball, while most of the batsmen scored runs while coming out to bat. And the West Indies Championship XI comprised of a few West Indian regular players, such as Kemar Roach, Anderson Phillip and Justin Greaves. From what we have seen so far in this practice match, it looks like West Indies is looking for a washout against South Africa during the test series.

South Africa is one of the best test cricket teams. Compared with the team Zimbabwe undoubtedly South Africa is stronger than Zimbabwe. And this has already been proved. From the beginning to the end, South Africa has shown that they are better than the team of Zimbabwe on the series.

West Indies batsmen batted very badly in the first innings. They had a chance to do better. But the team managed to collect only 144 runs. After batting so badly in the first innings, I do not expect good batting from the players of this team in the second innings. And the West Indies batsmen performed badly in the second innings as well. West Indies managed to collect 222 runs. And they lost the match by 40 runs.

For a long time now we have seen poor and erratic performances of West Indies players in Test and ODI formats. However, West Indies players are performing well in T20 format. I would say the West Indies players need to be more diligent and patient. Otherwise this team will not be able to do well in Test and ODI formats. West Indies performed very badly in the Test match against England. Their performance against South Africa is poor as usual. Had the first match not been delayed by rain, West Indies would have lost the first match as well.

The first ODI match between South Africa vs West Indies was a draw but the second Test match was won by South Africa. The way the bowlers have benefited in this Test match and the way the runs have been matched in four innings, this kind of play does not really go well with Test cricket. South Africa batted in the first two innings and scored only 406 runs in two innings and West Indies did not succeed in chasing this 406 runs. Test cricket is a 5 day game so there should be wickets built so that batsmen can bat for five days and both teams can score well but we didn't see that in this test match. I would expect wickets to behave in T20 series as it was in Test match because we want to see great batting in T20.

Maybe the test match will be your typing mistake. We saw that the first Test match between West Indies and South Africa was a draw. But in the second Test, South Africa performed well as they defeated the West Indies by just 40 runs. If we look at the first innings performances of both teams in the two second Test matches, we can see that both teams were evenly matched. In the first innings South Africa cricket team scored 16 runs more than West Indies and they also collected 24 runs more than West Indies in the second innings. Basically, this few runs difference for the victory is created in front of the West Indies cricket team. The West Indies may not have had much of a run target in front of them but they failed to muster a run. Mainly due to the lack of proper performance from their batsmen, I have not seen anyone from the West Indies team who has been able to extend their innings.

South Africa is a big team for test cricket and we can consider West Indies as a big team so this test match could have been more runs instead of so few runs. In other Test matches we see different teams scoring 500 plus or 600 plus runs in the same innings but here we have not seen 600 plus runs in four innings. Basically host countries take home advantage in consideration of opponents. Taking home advantage means that the wickets are made according to the bowling of the bowlers they will be bowling with, making it more challenging for the opposition batsmen to score runs against those bowlers. If the bowlers of the same category are in the opposite team, the team that creates wickets at the convenience of their bowlers but also faces many batting disasters while batting. This has been the case with South Africa and West Indies due to which we have seen very few runs in two innings.

In SENA countries, for the middle order, KL Rahul is a strong contender and he brings the much needed experience so competition will be tough for Sarfaraz. Similarly, Jurel's competition is Pant, some would say no competition for Pant.

BGT is 4 months away and home tests are a priority atm so for selection Duleep Trophy should play a big part, which is scheduled in the next 2 weeks.
