After winning the first match now Bangladesh is ready to play the second match with Pakistan. First match win was an unexpected win means 90% chances was that the match will be drawn but Bangladesh proven that they can win that kind of match too.
Well tiday is the second match and I think Bangladesh will perform well again but here we can't underestimate Pakistan too because their performance was also excellent in the first inning. So both teams will play toughly so let's wait and see who will perform well.

In the second match of the England vs Sri Lanka Test series, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl. England scored 427 runs batting first. England's batsmen have performed brilliantly. The Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh team was supposed to start, but the match has been postponed till now due to rain. The rain has not come under control so far, so the outcome of this second test match will depend on the decision taken by the cricket board.  Since the match has not started, the possibility of restarting the game is very high.

It was a sad 1st inning batting by a Lankan player as they did not resist in front of English bowlers and bowled out at 196 England had a solid lead of 256 runs and for sure they are favorites to win the 2nd test match very easily. 

Good job by everyone in the England’s team, they did so well in the batting side, bowling side and also in fielding. By the way, I think batting and bowling were at one side but fielding was at another level. England can easily get a lead of 500+ runs and there is ample time remaining in this test match.

In 2021, Hasan Ali dropped the catch of Wade and Pakistan lost it. Only good thing from SL so far has Rathnayake's catch to dismiss Atkinson, and only way SL can win this match is by wiping down England early which seems like an impossible scenario looking at their bowling attack, but anything can happen if England feels overconfident enough.

Both team already fishined their 1st inngins where England made a very higher score 427-10 runs and on the other hand, Sri Lanka able to made 196-10 runs which is really damn lower score in comparison of England as well as not decent amount of runs to win the test against their opponent. England lost their 6th wickets at 216-6 runs and i didn't through they will cross more than 400+ runs lol. They are very much strong in batting and bowling both side. Congrats for Joe Root(143) and Gus Atkinson(118) for done their century. Asitha Fernando got 5 wickets alone, really skillful bowler of Sri Lanka. Besides Sri Lanka team did poor performance, lost 6th wickets at 87-6 runs. But Kamindu Mendis(73) played well. 2nd inngins started, English players are in the field and going ahead gradually.. maybe they are going to won the match again

I have mentioned India and Australia in my previous post because in the Tests played in the last few years, England have given tough competition to India as well as Australia. If you look at the Ashes series, Australia wins one match and England wins the other. Nothing like that happened in the Ashes series where Australia won all the matches single-handedly.  

In Red ball, Home (Easy) and Away (Hard) tour paints a complete picture, sometimes context also matters (like toss, who's available or not etc). Don't let BAZBALL fool you. Against India and Australia Yes, they've improved under the new coach and skipper but only in vibes.

They barely manage to draw the last Ashes and that too at home after winning 4 toss. Similarly IND vs ENG series also saw a draw and the main reason wasn't performance but IPL Schedule, mismanagement and random one-off test, just to conclude the series and it ended up 2-2. India was leading 2-1.

That was their home record in the last 2-3 years against IND/AUS and as far as their away tour goes these are the numbers of their last 3 tours.

Some might also argue that England had the rookie spinners, well when did they have any spinners anyway except in the 2013 series (Panesar-Swann)
 

You have presented here only those statistics which were in favor of India or those which were in favor of Australia. It's not just that Australia won the Ashes series England just lost and it's just been going on and on. If there was no competition or only one team did well in this series then there would not be so much hype about this series. I talked about the second test match between England and Sri Lanka and given the conditions I put England ahead of Sri Lanka. What was the result?  

Against England's 427 runs, Sri Lanka were all out for only 197 runs. In other words, considering the first innings, Sri Lanka was 231 runs behind England.
After just two days of play England batting again and if they can score another 200 runs or 300 runs but the target for Sri Lanka will be 500 plus then it will be difficult for Sri Lanka to cross this target as far as I know.

The way the Pakistan team is batting today, of course I think we can make a good score. Outstanding bowling by the England team. In the first innings of Sri Lanka, we have seen so poor batting by Sri Lanka and some out of the box bowling by England. There was no one who even stayed for the good time and tried to form a patnership, Nishan Madushka and Dimuth Karunaratne both out on seven. Pathum Nissanka, Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal, all these players can’t even reach to above 25 score.



Dhananjaya de Silva who is the captain was out on zero. But in the mid of the game, after many wickets down, we got Kamindu Mendis who played long innings but due to pressure he was out too, I think in the next innings he must come early because he could manage the situation as well.

They are leading the score by 256 runs but if they will include 150 more runs in this, then this will be the best lead for them of around 400+. Sri Lanka would never ever chase it. Although, Ollie Pope the captain and Ben Duckett will open the game in just half an hour from now. I think the first over will be delivered by Lahiru Kumara from Sri Lanka because he picked an early wicket yesterday. Sri Lanka has very little chance in this test match but for that they also have to bat well in the last innings.

Pakistan lost their fifth wicket on 179 runs in seconds session of day 2. I don't think Pakistan will survive today and Bangladesh is looking to bowled out Pakistan under 230 runs. Bangladesh spin bowling is outstanding performance especially Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked 2 important wickets by giving 41 runs and Skakib al hasaan also bowl well pick the crucial wicket of Babar Azam. If the Bangladesh team can play a good game in today's match, then they will be ahead and have a chance to win the series. Pakistan has made some significant changes in his starting XI which may bring change in results as they lost previous test match so thier hunger for second match should be high and energetic so that can easily dominate thier opponent, to be honest I was expecting some good results for Pakistan as they are currently playing at home ground so already they have advantage but unfortunately they can't properly utilize it, After a very bad start currently Pakistan has lose thier five important wicket including shan, Shakeel babar who can single handedly change the results but due to bad shot selection and huge turn from green track fall them in his trap and thus they lose that significant wicket. Now they has scored 200+ and the only hope is Rizwan and Salman who can help them to reach at least 350+ if they hold thier wicket long and build handsome partnership.
