It is a really difficult wicket to bat on. Today, England only bowled 9.4 overs but they were able to pick 2 wickets and if they get a session's play tomorrow, they could win the match. Actually, the results this match were as expected and I can't praise any of the batsmen but I can certainly praise the bowlers of both teams.

That was an easy win for India against afghanistan in first test . To be honest there is no comparison between India and Afghanistan in cricket right now India is a very strong team while afghanistan can’t reach to their level anyways Afghanistan played very poorly in match as expected . Afghanistan is a fairly new team in the Test format. They just concluded their 13th Test match in their cricketing history, and you cannot expect them to dominate or compete against a team like India. Teams like, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh all started their cricket journey like this and then improved by playing against stronger teams. Afghanistan needs to play more matches against teams like Ireland, West Indies and Zimbabwe and gain experience.

In this test, we saw Indian batsmen and bolwers improving there stats only and there is no response from the Afghanistan side. Manav Suthar had a dream start of his test career as he picked 6 wickets in his first innings and got player of the match for picking 7 wickets.

It is true that the players will improve their stats, but the match is helping the Afghanistan players get the exposure in the longer format. It was a great debut by Manav Suthar, and he looks like a great replacement for Ravindra Jadeja in the long run.

Actually what I expected about this match that actually happened, I expected that even then the Afghanistan team played there to innings they will not able to cross the first innings score of Indian team in that actually happened.

Pitch Curators will know it for sure, and they should prepare a better pitch for the sake of the game itself, because already test cricket is deep down in revenue so we don't have to make it worse.

Another match ended on Day3, I thought India would continue to bat in the second innings which could be a good practice and game time for the new players but they didn't and the game ended pretty much quickly.

Indian is  strong team as compared to Afghanistan. Indian team batted first overall teams each player added handsome score on the board. Shabman Gill was the top scorer played brisk innings, contributed with 126 runs. That's an outstanding performance while other players helped him with solid runs. They posted 564 runs for the rivals as it was the 1st and second both innings total. Afghanistan's response in first innings was not defensive, Manav Suthar was the real threat for the Afghanistan. I do not think it is fair to completely forget them for the next few games due to one bad game. Cricket is a learning game and against a much better side with huge experience, is the way smaller sides realize their serious skill weaknesses. But entire match should prove to be wake up call for the Afghanistan management and not to be sad by the 300 runs loss. Quickly correct their batting footwork and they can and should do much more in the next game, even if they do not win.
