The West Indies captain has decided to field after winning the toss. But the West Indies bowlers are not doing well. Sri Lanka will probably give a target of around 300 today.

Sri Lanka has managed to collect 173 runs in 32 overs. This is undoubtedly a good collection. Because the West Indies bowlers have been able to take only two wickets so far. Opener Pathum Nissanka is at the crease after collecting 76 runs from 96 balls. Kusal Mendis played a wonderful innings of 72 runs from 62 balls. Now he is collecting an average of about 5.3 runs per over. If the West Indies bowlers cannot take wickets quickly, then Sri Lanka will collect more than 300 today.

Australia made an excellent comeback in the second ODI, played very well and the way they dominated in bowling was totally brilliant. Now the series is on. The series is going to be intense, and now who will win in the last game is a mystery  .

Nathan Ellis and Matt Short were the real threat for the Pakistani team. Collectively took 7 major wickets, gave tough time to the batsman. When Pakistan is in the game, it is nightmare for any cricket analyst, IMO. You could literally have the worst combination in sporting history. They beat the best team, and then they have a complete collapse. I think the problem with the Australian side at the moment is they are experiencing a transition period far slower than they anticipated. I think in my view that top order is not consistent at all and all games right now are gamble basically. If either side can somehow cross three figures to make it about two and a half hundred, then the massive opportunity knocks at the door in such a circumstance as it is big operation to defend.

There is a truth in this and it is actually completely true because when there is no good hope from Pakistan then it plays well and where it should succeed, it fails. This has happened due to their own hard work and efforts and this has also happened due to their own negligence and failure when they could have ended the series on the same note by playing well. I am not even a little confident in their series victory now and the one match they have won will also be beneficial for their strength. The Australian batsmen need some practice because I am seeing them playing a match after a long time and now they will not let Pakistan move. We have seen a glimpse of this in the second match and now we are going to see it in the last match as well.

This second match between Australia and Pakistan was going to be quite interesting because everyone was hoping that Pakistan would win the first match and the same team would win the second match as well, but Australia scored 231 runs in which Pakistan tried their best to achieve the target but could not. Tomorrow 3 rd Odi game between Australia and Pakistan will play and now this odi series is tie 1-1. In 2 nd odi game, Pakistan team won toss and they elected bowling first and gave batting line to Australia team. This time Australia team scored slightly better runs than in 1 st game but biggest improvement was seen in their bowling lineup. Nathan bowler helped a lot team to win this game and he took down 4 wickets in 9 overs and gave 33 runs. Matthew bowler also bowled 8 overs and dismissed 3 wickets of Pakistan player and gave 36 runs. Pakistan team failed to beat Australia team in 2 nd game and they chased down 190 runs and lost game by 41 runs. I think that actual turning point of this game was that the visitors ( Sri Lanka )continuously changed direction of strike in middle overs and did not allow hosts to create any tension. West Indies managed to display some brilliance in their run chase, but the need to maintain high required rate against much disciplined pace attack and spin proved to be their downfall. Fact that Maheesh Theekshana and Dushmantha Chameera made important discoveries in intervals of time suffocation to other side chasing completely killed momentum of side that seemed to pose a threat. Pleasant 41 run match win on road accords team a massive psychological boost into greater depth of bilateral series.

Honestly BAN is very strong at home and we saw that they won the series 2-1 against New Zealand a few days ago. So we can expect BAN to do well in this series too but Australia will tour Bangladesh with a full strength team so it might be difficult for Bangladesh to beat Australia. But I will keep Bangladesh as favourites at home. Bangladesh's bowling line is not bad but they need to improve their batting line. Bangladesh's opening batsmen cannot do well enough, so they need to improve here too.

Sri Lanka team won this match easily by 41 runs because that was a one sided match and one team gave great effort in this match and opponent team could not play as we expected.

Pakistan needs 158 runs to win the third and final ODI of the series against Australia at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. After winning the toss, Australia chose to bat first. This was an astounding decision by Josh Inglis because today in Lahore enough rain has done good damage.

Shaheen Afridi had an early breakthrough for Pakistan, and then no Australian batsman was able to stay on the crease and face the Pakistani bowling attack. Only Josh Inglis scored 65 runs while Shaheen Afridi took 3 wickets, and Shadab Khan and Abrar Alam have 2 wickets each. Now Pakistan has already started their chase in overcast conditions, and they are going to have a win in this game for having a series as well.
