The standings at points table doesn't provide the full picture. Nepal has fought really hard in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2. At the moment they are no.7 in the table because they lost a few close matches. Also, they have played only 16 matches in total (compared to 23 for Netherlands and 19 for Scotland). Another thing that we need to remember is that Nepal is a 100% native squad. Same can be said about the Scots and Dutch as well, but they have players who played first class cricket in South Africa and England.
Really feeling pity for Nepal; one of the exciting teams in cricket world but sadly have never been deserved at this spot because they are much better and skilled team from those having top spots in league table in last 5 games 7 points good fightback after early poor run.
Netherlands faced 4 consistent defeat in last 4 games now had last game against Scotland at Dundee tomorrow if Scotland able to win this game they could be at second spot Nepal surely deserve some better favour from ICC, but they never do this as they are having few other teams with better financial benefits. In 8 teams, just three teams are having 100% native players while 5 are having adopted players, and I am sure no team had any native player which is good benefit for them due to poor policies of ICC.
