That is something new to me. Earn by reading - looks interesting. Is there a data about how much can be earned simply by reading? I suppose not much, because I didnt find in the article info how to check if the reader have read the article or just scrolled down. If they platform pays a lot for text scrolling, abusers would have already killed it.
