Moderator banned Legendary member. Want to know the reason

Malekbaba, a legendary member of this forum was banned.

Due to personal business and several pending payments from several campaigns, I became irregular as forum poster. Too much scam projects and long due payments, made me lazy or reluctant to post here.

Anyone can check my posts to see if there was any spam or plagiarism. I posted in some threads and Whole threads were removed. i never do copy paste. Didnt insult anyone. I made fewposts in last 4-6 months. How to know the exact reason of ban?

I helped lot of new members and i am crypto lover. Always tried to be honest. Hope, forum will consider the issue

In recent time I have seen lots of bans and most of them were for plagiarism. I suspect the same with the user Malekbaba however may be someone will come with a reference post.

I admit it was all my fault. Please give me a 2nd chance, please. I posted 2 days ago. I will remove the post as soon as I get reply from respected administrator to fix my issue. I promise. Or may be some one will remove this thread but I will request him to read my whole post, please.  My Account was hacked by someone. He has changed my email, password and BTC address too. I asked for help and CYRUS, bitcointalk forum administrator replied. He wanted me to sign a message with BTC address. It is the most recommended way and I know this. I just want to draw attention of forum administrators, again. Cause I sent some messages but do not get any reply.

I was using a bitcoin address of poloniex exchange and I could not sign a message by BTC cause I had no access to my private key. The account was mine and I do not want to lose it anyway. I am even ready to share my login Details of poloniex account , if any of the administrator want to verify my account.

What is the purpose of signing a message with BTC address? To prove the ownership, right ? If I can provide the login details of my poloniex account, is it not enough to verify myself ? You guys need other verification too ?

Yah some one hacked my account. And I recovered that account by signing a message from my eth address. And I am the real owner of the account, malekbaba. You can check my eth address. I am using same address since I start crypto journey.  My eth add: 0xa87e260320485fb8e4b35614728d92655ef40146

If he or she was trying to share the post, all that needed to be done was to quote and post it, that way it'll come as a quoted message of kirreev070, I do not think it's unintentional, you may never know though.

And you notice how the link in @kirreev070's original posts was changed with "Good days are coming"

Unfortunately for you, the rules applies to everyone regardless of rank. Also, the admins usually give consideration to users that have contributed a lot in this forum, by blocking signature usage for a year instead of straight off banning them. But since you've earned ZERO merits since your account was created in 2014, looks like you're not going to be as fortunate.

I still don't understand why so many think they will get a pass because they have prestige compared to others... So then why tf did you even mention "legendary member", it's pretty obvious you were trying to use that as leverage. And you really think people are going to believe that someone hacked your account just to "copy/paste" a post? You messed up and no one is going to bail you out this time, especially as a legendary member. You should certainly know better by now, you are banned, move on, making alt account posts isn't going to change anything... It's proven to be very effective in the past!

Anyway, even if you were trying to "spread the news" or whatever the reason is for the copy-paste, the rules are pretty strict here concerning plagiarism. It was always a hard rule to always link your sources if you were to copy-paste something.

I wonder when will your ban be lifted as it doesn't show up on your profile page yet, unlike other users that get the same ban status. Maybe it isn't taking effect yet on the account. Good for you that it's been changed to a temp ban, perhaps this serves as an eye-opener to everyone that you should not really copy-paste then post it directly here in the forum without citing the reference of it.
