What are the benefits and the purpose of mixing your coins when you not into illegal activities?
I mean, I see the benefit when someone got btc through some scam shit with illegal transactions or someone who even stole them. However, I am simple btc user, doing my simple everyday transactions, so why should I use this?

If you had read the op properly, you would have seen advantages of that. You dont have to be involved in criminal activities just because you want to be anonimous, do you?! Also, they feature several scenarios on their website showing use-cases. Check it out.

You are totally right, not only people who do illegal activities benefit from mixing but also simple Bitcoin users. Simple Bitcoin users do also suffer from possible threats through not being anonymous with their finances. Threats, they don't know about yet, because they didn't experience them. By mixing their funds, simple Bitcoin users are safe from these threats, as no one really knows their transactions, balances and so on. As efialtis said, you don't have to be involved in illegal activities to take action for anonymity. Anonymity is a privilege, it's your own decision if you want to be it. We focus on simple Bitcoin users, who don't know the real possible threats of not being anonymous. Check our website out, to gain more knowledge about the benefits of mixing.

Which would be cool anyway if you make an option via telegram in which you can use the mixer with the app. I know other mixers also offer this feature.

Privacy is the major reason for mixers. Nobody legit would love to support the mixing of stolen coins or coins that have been used for illegal activities but of course they can't avoid it.
Just like a normal person with no ill intent would use a VPN. All they would love is privacy and avoid getting tracked by wrong elements.

Don't you think interpreting the mixer with telegram would make it less anonymous. AFAIK, Telegram can provide data to Government agencies anytime they come knocking.

That would be a nice idea, this way we could simplify the usage of SmartMixer even more! However, it threatens too much the privacy of our users as we would need to use third party corporations, such as Telegram. It's smarter to keep the actions only on our platform, because we know exactly what we are doing.

Thank you logfiles, for putting it in a nutshell. We definitely do not love to support coins from illegal activities, but they are unavoidable. Our focus, however, is on simple cryptocurrency users who value their privacy, especially when it comes to finances.

I wish you had been there earlier. Trust lost by other scams. You have a very good design and I would definitely have used it but I have trust issues because of the previous scams. Although the project looks promising because of its simplicity, you need something to build trust with.

I emailed and sent support tickets as well with the json files.

8.25 and 7.45 BTC so it's a slightly large amount and it's making me nervous.

Will update when I hear back from them.

EDIT: They responded back with me and even provided me a discount on my next tumble.

I was waiting for about 7 hours panicking but aside from that, they were great.

RESULT: Got coins back, showed me their customer support is pretty good, THANKS EVERYONE!

Edit: And as expected, there was a reason for that. Just been told they had some server update and some transactions were delayed (notified their customers). Guy should have his btc by now.

I did and he got back to me and the coins have been sent. They all got sent out same timestamp so I'll probably have to run them through again. Faith restored!

Hey huseyin15 , I use mixers at least one time a month. Also mixing high amounts (sometimes 5-10 btc), but never experienced any problem. No delays, always received the right amount with anonymous coins. I have nothing to complain about. I am curious about when they will make the loyalty program available. Would be great to benefit from it!

Not sure why Ethereum is not a popular option for most mixers.. I have seen a couple of mixers that have an option to mix Litecoin or Dash. If i were you i would just swap the Ether for BTC or LTC on legit coin swapping platforms like coinswitch.co and then later on mix the BTC received.

Afterall you won't be prompted to provided KYC or sign up on coinswitch.
