Mune Token is a very straight forward ERC20 token with the goal of achieving a high value. This is the token for those who like to get stuff for the low, and either hold, or sell for the high. It will be a community driven token.

How does MUNE plan on achieving a high value?

Firstly, the total supply is extremely low. The initial 2.5M of the 5M tokens will be given out for free through various social media platforms [Reddit, Forums, Facebook Groups, etc], and via a Bitcointalk Bounty. We will be targeting individuals who understand how cryptocurrencies work, as well as those who want to learn and earn.

When will MUNE be sending these free tokens?:

We will be sending out the MUNE tokens within 48 hours of you completing some bounty activities. The activities will be quick and easy. We aren't trying to make anyone jump through any crazy hoops to get their tokens. Most activities will include following our new social media pages and engaging with the most recent posts. You must have an ERC20 compatible wallet to receive your tokens [IE Metamask]. Once you get your MUNE, you can do whatever you'd like with them - Transfer them to a friend, sell, etc. Of course, we suggest that you HODL.

Potential ICO:

After distributing the 2.5M free tokens, we may plan an ICO / IEO for a portion of the remaining tokens. Many factors will influence this decision - the main one being the public's demand and interest in the token and if we would need to raise funds for placement on an exchange. The ICO will start at a price no higher than $0.01 / MUNE. There will be a limit on the amount of coins that one person may purchase. Funds raised will primarily go towards marketing, exchange listing fees, and miscellaneous expenses like web hosting (yes, the website is currently on Weebly)

Why would a coin with such a low supply be priced so cheaply?

We want people who get in early to feel the gains. It's called "MUNE" for a reason  

Will MUNE be on exchanges

One of MUNE's major goals is to be on reputable exchanges. Once again, this is something that will be community driven. Based on the distribution model, there will be a good amount of people that will hold MUNE, which would make it an attractive coin for exchanges. Information and updates on this will be posted in this thread & social media.

Will there be a referral program

A referral program is currently in the works. The referral program is designed  to allow individuals to earn a % of the ETH that their referrals spend (after the free tokens have been distributed), as well as earn MUNE.

How will MUNE be marketed

The coin will be marketed primarily through social media platforms and forums. Once initial interest has been established, paid ads will be created to further push the coin.

An ICO will be held if deemed necessary. We are not ruling out the option of conducting an ICO. This is really dependent on how we are looking after distributing the 2,500,000 free tokens. We feel like there will be a good amount of holders and people ready to trade - which will be attractive to some exchanges...

HOWEVER, if we are unable to get listed on some more reputable exchanges, an ICO will be conducted to assist with raising those funds

To further explain the concept of MUNE, it is a token with a low supply which will be available for people to grab for free, or at a very low price if an ICO is held. Bitcoin is not free. You technically do not have to "invest" in MUNE as the bounty campaign (2,500,000 MUNE) only involves individuals to engage with social media posts.

Paying for placement would be necessary if there isn't traction after distributing 50% of the tokens. In approximately 1 week, we have ~400 unique holders according to Etherscan. There is still quite a ways to go, however, by the time we have distributed 50% of the tokens, there would be well over 5000 unique holders (which is a good amount for a token with a total supply of 5,000,000)

We are currently running campaigns within various Facebook communities which are being met with a lot of interest, so we feel like there would be exchanges that would be ready to collect transaction fees on people buying and selling Mune.

If that doesn't work out - we will consider the option of creating our own platform where people can trade MUNE along with other ERC20's. This route is currently being discussed with developers.

Bitcoin is not, and was never free. There is quite a difference here.

This coin is given away for free on many platforms. The distribution method, low supply and transparency is somewhat unique.
If there are almost 500 unique holders in two weeks (without being on exchanges), I would argue that there is *some* interest here.
