IMHO, they should have updated all inline to this change. But it seems they're not prepared for it. It looked interesting and gathered the interest of the global basketball fans but somehow, they haven't fixed everything before implementing the changes.

What a game for Converge, outscoring TNT in the last quarter and manage to escape that close game exchange of scoring both import played so well though only one team will win, Just in the impression that you'll win your handicap but not expecting that TNT will be that careless losing that game from converge, the highlight is that 4-point shot if that new rule did not implemented yet it's just an ordinary OT that we will going to watch out. But, lucky for Cnverge that the import risk that last shot and made it.

2nd game between sister teams not sure if how both teams will play around, looking to see Abarrientos to play well today together with JBL and the rest of Gin kings.

Yes Kabayan not sure what happened with SMB they rally in the third with Teng and Romeo's taking in charge with their offense but like what you said it's JBL who take charge and carried the Gin kings, as always, JBL do his task and bring that win for his team.

For the second game, I backed NLEX along with bisdak, but I went with the moneyline instead of the handicap. I was so happy after the first quarter, but things went south as NLEX got dominated by ROS. I now don't trust this team due to their lack of defense. Just like in their previous game, when they were up by a huge margin but allowed their opponent to go on a big run, the same thing happened this time, and it’s just sad they lost.

For the second game, I backed NLEX along with bisdak, but I went with the moneyline instead of the handicap. I was so happy after the first quarter, but things went south as NLEX got dominated by ROS. I now don't trust this team due to their lack of defense. Just like in their previous game, when they were up by a huge margin but allowed their opponent to go on a big run, the same thing happened this time, and it’s just sad they lost.

You said it right, NLEX unable to protect that huge lead during the first quarter, when ROS start to play defense they've been outscored in just 5 or 6 minutes of the 2nd quarter, then unable to catch up in the 2nd half and totally being dominated.

It's unfortunate that they didn't learn from their past mistakes. I don't know if they can be a championship contender with the way they play. We all know that defense is a very important factor in winning, and so far, it seems like this team doesn't possess it.

Yeah, that was the first game-winning 4-point shot in the history of the league. Magnolia is a good team, but I believe TNT's import is better than Magnolia's. I'm sure RHJ will make sure what happened in their previous game doesn't happen again. This is likely to be a double-digit win by TNT.

That will go down in the books. The first player to hit a 4-point shot was Chris Banchero, and the most recent was Scotty Hopson (Converge import), who hit a game-winning shot from that area. With the new rule introduced this season, the PBA has become even more exciting. A 4-point lead, which used to be a two-possession game, is now just one possession. With one shot, the game can be tied, but in the game between TNT and Converge, it was a game-winning shot.

I'm sure RHJ will make sure what happened in their previous game doesn't happen again. This is likely to be a double-digit win by TNT.

I have no doubt about this. I thought this season the competition would only be between Durham and Brownlee, but I forgot that RHJ is the import for TNT, and we all know he is an exceptional player.

Just like agree with what you observe about Magnolia, not sure what's happening but seems that the team no longer the same, I was in the impression that after Sangalang got back and play healthy the team will be more competitive, but with the way they play seems that they are not in a good form, maybe there's  a need of a major changes not just a single trade but more on the system maybe coaching staff and old stars needs to be replace, just my on take and again let see what will happen later.

Related to this I just saw a social media post regarding to those players who made a 50+ points this week, Adams,Brown Lee and the only local player was Tolentino and same with what you mentioned it's now easy for players to make that amount of productions with the help of that 4-points rules, shooters can take advantage of that long range shots, not by far that we can see more and more gunners to make that good offensive productions.

Arvin Tolentino seems to be an underrated player; he has really developed his skills with Northport and is now very consistent. I can see this player getting an opportunity to compete in a championship series. The farm teams are still DYIP and Blackwater, and they continue to perform at the same level. I'm quite surprised by teams like ROS and Northport, as they are playing great basketball this season. With a good import, I think they’ll be able to compete with the top teams in the PBA.

Rain or Shine secured another huge victory with a final score of 116-99 in the first game. They are now 3-0 in Pool B, with all their wins coming by double digits, including a victory over Ginebra. I think this team is going to be exciting to watch this season. I'm not entirely sure about the rules since there's already a Pool A and Pool B, but I'm guessing the winner of Pool A will face the winner of Pool B in the finals.

Meanwhile, the second game is already live, with Ginebra battling a desperate Blackwater team. Can Blackwater upset the Gin Kings?

I can agree with the level of competitiveness of ROS but NP not sure if how far they can go, I mean by looking from all the previous games of ROS they are really performing so well though still far and there are still games that they'll need to win but as long as they are playing like this I guess it's impossible for them to reach the next round or potential contender for the finals, on my own take seems to me that coach Yeng might now harvesting what he plants it's been a long while seeing them in the finals, maybe this season would be a best timing for them if they manage to keep that top spot while in-line against heavy favorites Gin kings and SMB.

I hope that this line will develop more and will be applied to the players of our national team. The shooting caliber is going to be of a big help in international tournaments because of how used our players our in a long shots. While the fans don't really see the importance or difference of what it is bringing to the league, I am optimistic about the development through the players way of long shooting.

Unbelievable! Of all the teams, the struggling Blackwater beat Ginebra last night. How many of you lost your bets? I wasn’t able to bet last night, but if I had, I would have chosen Ginebra even with a high spread. It was a low-scoring game, which should have favored Ginebra, but what happened is just what happens every season when, early on, weak teams can beat a strong team.

However, it won't happen again for sure. Now, I’m looking forward to Ginebra’s next game because I’m confident they’ll bounce back strong after that disappointing performance.
