I have watched a video on Youtube regarding how this Manny Harris played in different countries and he is a superb player and for me, he can match with McDaniels and Wells and he can be a Best Import candidate. Too early to speculate I think but his average when he played in some tournaments is at around 20-30 PPG which is superb. If he will play well in PBA, he and the NLEX will be a threat for sure and they have a chance to be champions.

Great to see that we have a lot of great imports in the PBA, but I don't think even if he is really a great player it will help them win the championship.
We've seen enough what happen last conference, Terrence Jones was a monsters, he is bigger and he can really dominate but the SMB did a great job limiting him, the same will happen with this imports that we think will bring their team in the championship.

Things will be different in the finals, they might be good in playoffs but nothing beats SMB yet, so I don't want to judge in advance.

He finished with 45 points  from 15-28 shooting, and whats impressive also is his FT consistency, he was 12-13 tonight.

have just watched in news now so we have no idea on how he played but since he was from the NBA surely he has a potential.

The import must be really good, in his first game he already gave a win to his team.

Looking at the game highlights it seems that this import is not showing his very best yet, his just warming up keep shooting outside and really nailing it. He's style reminds me of KD not forcing anything just purely talents. With the line up NLEX have this import will complete the competitiveness as he added scoring percentage.

Very impressive first game, if they will continue working like this sharing the ball and helping each others back it will be a good season for them.

Both of them will benefit on this trade. CStand and Moala was both first draft pick on their draft pick year perspectives. This is why I don't think there is a loose situation on both teams.  Moala is averaging like 10 points per game and playing at least 20-25 minutes although CStand is only averaging 3 points per game on 11 minutes. This is why CStand can't show his full potential for him is not given by minutes of playing.

Stand ranking will improve, with north port, I think he can make an easy 20+ points every game.

You have a point mate but you can't blame SMB's management why they're not giving The Bulldozer plenty of time inside the hard court because June Mar is can already do the work inside the paint and besides there are faster Forwards than him. But since he was now in Northport, I'm pretty sure he will got more opportunity to play thus greater chances of improving. I just really hope he could establish a good relationship with bolick and the rest of the team because at the end of the day, team chemistry still matters the most .

May point ka, pero hindi mo rin kasi masisisi ang SMB kung bakit hindi masyado binababad si The Bulldozer (nakakapagod mag spell ) dahil andyan naman si June Mar tsaka other faster Forwards. Kaya ngayong nasa Northport na siya, sure na mas magkakaroon na siya ng mahabang time sa paglaro so mas magkakaroon din siya ng opportunity to improve. I just really hope na makabuo kaagad siya ng good relationship with Bolick and the rest of the team dahil team chemistry is what matters the most pa rin .

One reason that I see is that, Harris is better in shooting compare to Olu. Harris can shoot outside, in the perimeter and can drive too. They see Harris to be a better one compare to Olu even we saw how he played already. If you will see, the top 2 teams has an legit NBA import and they must get a legit NBA import too if they want to defeat the TNT who is now 6-0 and the SMB who is on the road to grand slam.

This is just my own opinion because I saw Harris played in different leagues too and yes he is a good shooter and we saw that already in his first game .

They see Harris to be a better one compare to Olu even we saw how he played already. If you will see, the top 2 teams has an legit NBA import and they must get a legit NBA import too if they want to defeat the TNT who is now 6-0 and the SMB who is on the road to grand slam.

He showed really well against the Columbian DYIP but this is not a quality team.

He showed really well against the Columbian DYIP but this is not a quality team.

IMO, Columbian Dyip may not be on the level of SMB or TNT but they have greatly improve now with Perez on board, they no longer are push over.

That would be the real test if he faces the TNT and still drop that huge numbers on the stats which i think he will since the guy is a high percentage perimeter shooter.

if thats the case thats more than enough reason to replaced Olu.because the competition is getting harder and harder as days passed by and the TNT dominance is very alarming.other team like NLEX must act fast before its too late

That’s one of the fact why Olu was replaced and I know there was cases before like this that the availability of the first choice hinders the pick so the team needs another first to play but with the agreement that in any chance of that first choice become available then replacements will happen

But looking thru Harris,I think he isn’t much better and fit to play for NLEX than Olu and the team looks confident also with their new import,lets see what happen in the next games as it becomes more interesting

Their next game will be on October 25, so this means that they have a lot of time to practice and know each other.
It will be a tough game by next game as they will be facing the TNT which has one of the best imports in the PBA now, if NLEX will be able to break the winning streak of the TNT, then probably people will think that they can be a championship contented.
