I thought Gin Kings is just increasing the odds on live bet that's why they are not trying hard. But DYIP is dedicated to winning so they never let the Gin Kings make a run although in 4Q they were able to cut the lead and make a rally.

There's no game fix on that game. DYIP is just doing great.

SMC is now happy that their farm team is showing a good game. They are now planning who will trade.

Terrafirma now making sounds at the PBA Facebook page specifically on the thread where PBA is posting the half-time score and the final score. Fun to read some comments there that SMC teams, San Miguel and Ginebra, are struggling to a team that is considered as a farm team and the lineup is not complete as Muzon and Balagasay are still out of DYIP's active lineup.

With J. Tiongson's 31 points on that game, that's the highest point achieved by a single player this conference. It was Matthew Wright's 29 points before.

I did not see the game, but if anyone knows why Cabagnot is still inactive, please let me know the reason.

Even without Cabagnot, the SMB can still make it, they just have to correct their errors and that is important is that majority of the players are healthy especially Fajardo who is the heart and soul of the team, a lose against the DYIP does not make them a bad team, that's normal, they just have to player better next time so they would still improve their standing.

Nice article, if they will not be able to continue their run, this article will be the highlights of their career this season. Honestly, I don't expect them to beat the SMB or BGSM twice if they will again face this conference as I'm sure they had already prepared on how to limit Tiongson their golden boy now

I am not underestimating the DYIP, but they just got hyped up after a bad start this conference, so we can't avoid of thinking that maybe they are just lucky enough.

Well, I do underestimate them as they really are a bad team, they can even qualify in the elimination matches and that's why there's speculation that this is only a farm team for the biggest teams like SMB and Ginebra, that's why the SMB was able to acquire Perez from the team after a good training.

Let's see how long that magic would last, but it will be fun if it will last longer and DYIP should continue to embrace their character as Giant slayer, and I hope they'll show the same intensity even against the weakest team which is the Blackwater Elite.

That's the beauty and advantages of the current roster of SMB, Alex Cabagnot won't be missed because you have CJ Perez, Terrence Romeo and a lot of guards that can fill the void. A loss is pretty normal even if you are a strong contender like SMB but what matters most is they should keep Fajardo slowly to get back in the groove.

Dyip has been making the news lately with Tionzon leading the way for them, could see him being ship to an SMC team in the future lol.

Yeah, it's only the NLEX vs Phoenix game that pushes through today and unfortunately, I lost my bet on that game.

I thought that with the departure of Keifer Ravena, NLEX's morale will be affected but it seems that it is the opposite as they are winning games without their leading point guard while on the Phoenix side, Wright is struggling and can't seem to find his usual MVP rhythm.

I don't know if I'm the only one who notices this but Tiongson used to be a good point guard when he is still in NLEX and he is a good supporting point guard back then. There are times that he is scoring double digits in some of his games.

Now that he is the starting point guard of the Dyip, he has given more minutes there therefore he has more minutes to shine in the court and he is starting it with the Sister teams SMB and GSM. Still, I'm not expecting too much from them like entering the playoffs whatsoever but this performance by them might boost their morale towards the end of the elimination. I would be happy to see them in the playoffs though even at the 8th seed. Its their first time since they joined the PBA if that happens.

They will enjoy a twice to beat advantage if they can keep the ranking that way, at least in the top 4, and Jericho Cruz was really huge on the success of the NLEX, him playing at Guam was really a big help for him to improve more and he shows consistency now, hopefully, he will stay healthy throughout the conference.

DYIPs performance and the win were historical. They've never won against the Gin Kings and now they've won with a lot of attraction from Tiongson.

I don't even think placing a bet for them +4.5 is a good pick. I don't know why bookies only gave that small line to Blackwater knowing their games are all poor.

Ginebra is already used in that situation so I think fans are not worried. Once the elimination round ended, they will expect Ginebra to be on their best play like what they did in the last bubble. And I think struggling is not the right term. They are 2-3 in standings. They only lose few points against DYIP last time although they should win it base on roster comparison.

Maybe fans should be worried if Ginebra will be on the bottom standings and eliminations are now close to ending. That was alarming.

Congrats mate, DYIP had won again and they cover that spread, they are on a 3 winning streak and they are the hottest team now, I'm sure they will continue winning and they will surprise the big teams in the PBA. Nice for them, they have a balanced attack in this win and everyone was really stepping up.
