The name is not real use. Real use means that it can be used for something what no other coins can be. Name is just a name. IF coin is named better that gold, that is no use case. If it is better then gold then it is a good usecase.

Usually halving time market may not bump and dump bigger it takes certain time to settle in the marketplace for sometimes. This is how usually we see at the time of bitcoin halving.
As like that we can see the same in the lite coin halving as well.

If you are holding LTC you should understand that there is some huge profit on its way.

One thing is certain about the litecoin halving,miners reward will be very low and miners may have to find other coins to mine since litecoin wont be profitable anymore but im sure that litecoin value will increase after the halving

Looking forward to it and I'm already stocking up on LTC in case the price does rise.
Even if it doesn't, can't hurt to have some more LTC in my portfolio, it's always been a great coin.

that's not certain, it all depends on how much they pay for electricity. I think there's still some leeway for some miners, even if the price doesn't rise.

I think the effect of the coming halving is already showing gradually in the market because the transaction fee of LTC is getting averagely high already probably because of more transactions that is happening within the market. So, this halving will really play a very significant role in the life of many investors of Litecoin.

Let us wait and see what the price of Litecoin will pump to, but the only fear I have is if the price of Litecoin pumps, majority of investors that has waited for so long will want to dump their coin which may make the value to even drop below the current value it is now, and I would not want the value to dump further because it will not be so much healthier for the market again, and Litecoin may not gain much increase when the altcoins season comes.

Thats great to hear but you dont give any advice about buying ltc today and onwards so that we cannot miss those good oppurtunity that can probably come ahead   . im not a fan of ltc so i wont grab this oppurtunity for now knowing that im also in a tight budget these days  .  i guess i will save up and wait for the main event , specifically next year when btc halving is about to take place .

Do we really mean halving should detate the price of ltc due to its reward base ? I dont think that suppose to be so as market right now still very much at bear stage and btc surge will surely affect the price , so it will be very good to have double of the profit and that only reason they hope tonpumpnthe price .

i have to admit that i am very disappointed in litecoin. it has defied all the expectations that everyone had from it by not getting any pump at all. it had a small rise just as other altcoins did with the bitcoin small price rise but that was it. we were all expecting a big pump to at least go up 2x because of its halving just like it did in the past but i guess the pumpers have been so busy pumping the smaller coins that they had no interest in big coins like LTC anymore.

How you could not see an increase in demand?  Open coinmaket cap and check how much was LTC in BTC a year ago. 0.0102 and now is 0.0088. So 14% drop.  Now open other coins and see how much they dropped. You will see most lost 50%+

I hope so. Litecoin will increase maybe after the halving happens, but we never know about that. Gladly, I already prepare my litecoin too since the last year which litecoin price is down deeper. And although I still buy more litecoin, I don't buy a lot of because the price now is starting to increase. I wonder what will happen in the next 5 days.

Buying now is not a satisfying idea because the price is reflecting the halving. Top coins have no correlation with Litecoin halving and the growth percentage of the top coins will no be the alike price of the Litecoin.

The pump will happen tomorrow before the expected Litecoin halving. Block reward will be a 12.5 Litecoin per block and the new blocks will speed up the tranaction processing time. The price will not go up in my opinion, the market already priced the halving effect.

Usually, the coin rises in price in a few days before the halving, but we are almost there and nothing

Because of this, I now worry about the halving of btc next year. I know that it is also a sell on news on our part but it's btc so it could still trigger an aggressive pump for an all time high. Litecoin might not be very popular anymore so that is why not a lot of traders want to pump it and it should be whales doing the work right now so others will feel the fomo but even them did not contribute to help ltc make a noise in the market to enhance ltc's exposure significantly.

Just be patient, wait, and see for what will happen next. We don't know when litecoin can increase or have a fast move to the higher price, but I am sure if litecoin can increase more and back to 0.01 btc again. Maybe it will need more time to see litecoin reaches a higher price because that cannot change in a short time. So we have time to buy more litecoin and get ready to sell if the price is starting to increase. Besides that, I think with the price now, it still a good chance for any investors to buy as the price still at a low price.
