About

APCcoin is one of the very few coins today that actually have a purpose; a good cause.

India, the 10th largest economy in the world and often referred to as a future superpower is gripping with one major problem; corruption. Recently this problem has become the single biggest and most important issue for the common man of India. As a result millions of people took to the streets in 2011 to protest against the deep rooted corruption in the country. More details can be found here. The movement eventually died out and the leadership decided that the solution to this can come only if honest people were directly involved in the decision making and if the people fought corruption unitedly.

APCcoin has decided to help the people of India in their fight against corruption. Hence, the APCcoin will be 3% premined and a major portion will be donated to those trying to fight corruption in India and the rest used for promoting the coin and funding several bounties and giveaways. Also the donations will be done in 50 parts over a period of about 2.5 years so that the market does not crash.

APCcoin hopes that the crypto community will support this noble cause and make this coin a success.

In my opinion these specific cause coins are nearsighted in that after the specific cause has been dealt with what is the incentive to keep using them?
Is the world going to adopt a coin that was created to benefit a social party in india as its international currency?

Also, you've specifically given a chunk of these coins to a specific party, but their only method of profiting or benefiting from this donation is by DUMPING the coins.
So... investment potential? not looking so good.

We are trying to add some features to give long term usability to the coin even after the cause is dealt with. Stay tuned.
