I plain refuse to use sub-par exchanges, even if that mean that I'm missing out on something.
It's likely going to cause trouble in the future, once you start using sketchy exchanges, you're more likely to do so in the future.

In this case, I look at the project first. If I believe the project is good, then I prefer ICO. Because for me a project needs to have a good team to be good. And that's why I think that after the ICO, there will be no problems sending tokens. But if i did not trust so much that project, then I wouldn't prefer two options too.

Well there are many criteria that need to be fulfilled in order for me to invest in a new project. These criteria varied depending on the mode of launching the project.
If it's an IEO then I would surely consider the reputation of the exchange, although it wouldn't matter much if the project is truly worth it.
If it's an ICO then the project should really be good, it's vision should be vast and achievable and the team behind the project should definitely be hardworking and known developers.

It is difficult choice indeed and if supose can i want to invest at both and get decent profit from them but for me personally invest at ICO or IEO is not so different as long those projects legit then it would be fine for me and regarding the pool option i think i might be to choose option 1 because i do not dare to invest at IEO which is held by bad exchange as you says and it's risky for me

I think everything depends on the project. But now almost all projects use the IEO scheme for the sale of tokens because ICO has begun to be unpopular. If I am required to participate, I would prefer to take part in IEO in a small exchanger because the funds generated from the sale of tokens are held by the exchanger and not in the developer team so that it is unlikely that a project will become a scam, even though later when listing there is a chance the price falls below the IEO price

It doesn't really matter. If a good project using a good exchange for it's IEO then I think it will make it much more legit then just an ICO. It will be backed by an exchange so trading can happen immediately.

The choices you have brought up has some circumstances, mostly will invest to an IEO now because they've just heard that it will generate profit and the ICO days are now over. So despite on how good the ICO would be, many will start to avoid investing on it because of that belief for this year. The ICO has been taken over by IEOs and investors wouldn't even have a second thought on where they will invest. As long as that is an IEO and there's an exchange to dump it, they'll invest.

Investing in IEO seems to be an easy and fast profits. Investors are not anymore patiently waiting for the product but they want a profit instantly. If you don't care with the project, IEO is good to be an investment yet if you want a product there are still ICO that are working with that. The tendency of other IEO which has investors that only search for an instant gains will easily decline once they knew that they have profit at all.

I would prefer to invest in ICO if the project is good, because if I buy in IEO but the exchange is bad I am worried that they will have problems with the exchange

I would choose to invest on an IEO over an ICO on any given time of the day, unless its a super good project with a big guy with a lot of influence that is conducting an ICO. IEO provides liquidity to its investors but is quite exclusive and always have risks. A new offering which is an evolved IEO are somehow mitigating those issues and provides a lottery-based system for you to win. Regardless, everything has a risk and we just need to play it smart.

ICO is not recommended anymore because of the length of time they held their crowdfunding and listed their coin in exchange, sometimes it takes a year like what happened to Adab, IEO is preferable because it is fast but I still prefer it even if it is held in a small exchange as long as they can make a good promotion, it will become a successful project.

IEO is suppose to be an improved form of ICO, ICO do a lot of shady deals, can even conceal fund. Recently Bitbond conducted an STO through public crowdfunding, till date, they are yet to accurately release the total amount raised. Some ICO who collected money since last year are yet to get listed on exchanges blaming the bad market for their failure.

Small exchangers only follow the IEO trend. Big investors will certainly choose the IEO held by a large exchanger because it promises a good project and also a large transaction value. But compared to ICO, IEO in small exchangers is still better because ultimately investors want listing in the market

The most important thing to consider in participating in any investment scheme is the project itself, because that is what can sustain and secure your investment, whether IEO or ICO, if the project is not safe, there is no way that one can have a guaranteed investment future.

So, I think that I would rather participate in a project that has a real use case even if it is done through ICO than to participate in IEO projects on exchange that are not reliable, because if you participate in exchanges that are not reliable, there is a chance that the project itself is not going to be a good one, or the exchange will end up scamming you on your tokens. So we should not look at the IEO but the project, even if a project is registered as IEO on a reliable exchange, there is still need to do thorough research before making any investment in it.
