When I closed my longs at opened short , my target was 180 USD.

I am closing my shorts now.I will wait and watch the market for some time.Sometimes not to make a move is the best move.Technical view seems chaotic.We can win either eth price up or down.I am a swing trader.

Yes,I believe in crypto.ETH is one of the cryptos I believe will perform beside BTC.

Having closed my position I am waiting for a new good trade oppurtunity.

Bitcoin moved nicely this day but I've noticed that ETH haven't moved that much. If it's a bull trap on $230-$240, on what price you're start selling?

I definitely won't sell ETH at that price. Because the real price of ETH is being traded below its true value, due to the hotness of Bitcoin over the past few days, many investors have forgotten about ETH.
I'm DCA ETH from $ 215 - $ 209. I will sell it at $ 400 by 2020.

Ethereum can be offered for 400 dollars this year already. I believe that when Ethereum 2.0 is launched, the price of altcoin will be tripled at least. nevertheless, we have to wait for it for almost a year. Simply hold ETH, and trade other cryptocurrencies. ETH is good now more for Smart Contracts than for trading, and we cannot ignore this important moment.

But it's price is $188. I'm positive with Ethereum 2.0 but what's the progress and the update regarding that?

I'n holding it until the price skyrockets and I'm not confident to sell at any price because it seems to be not a good price of selling at this point. Otherwise, this is a wise time to picking up and buying more ethereum and also bitcoin.

Price tripling is possible but we don't know when.

$ 185 is also a pretty good price now. Should I divide my money into 3 parts to place each lower buy order (DCA)?
I think the market has only corrected sharply for the past few days in preparation for a bull run. I do not want to lose this opportunity. Please give me advise. thanks

One way or another, if you look at the future, then indeed even the current price of ethereum is very promising.  Especially when you consider the fact that from April to July, Ethereum had very sharp rises to $ 350.  But I expect even greater results, and so today it is better to buy ethereum rather than sell.

I have successfully done swing trading for years. It is tedious, grinding and accumulating those small profits. It is less risky but smaller profits.  And eventually you will burn out.

Holding is a legitimate strategy, if you know how. You will have more free time to yourself. Never invest more than you could afford to lose. You will need to realized it is 3000% profit or lose all strategy, that's why you make it less risky by minimizing the capital you have to put in or practice diversity.

There are school of thoughts and preach that HODL is one of the smartest and safest way to invest. I mean for a newbie trader who just learn how to invest, then I would say that it's a good strategy. But as you go along and gain the needed experience, anyone can attempt and try to be a trader just like the rest of us are doing. Just continue to give us updates though and see how it goes. Maybe someone out there are going to learn a lot of lessons from you. But I'm not into swing trader though, you need to be really active and have the a lot of time in your hand to watch the price so its really tiresome and monotonous and you can easily feel a exhausted day-in/day out.

as i knew a swing trader is same with people who hodl any coins for long term especially ethereum, because the subject is ETHUSD
because usually a swing trader will use a higher timeframe to analysis the chart such as daily, weekly even monthly timeframe
