What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do?

Honestly if you are really a risk taker you should invest your 1000$ all in crypto. But if you are going to ask me I will suggest that 75% of your capital or your 750$ is better to invest in bitcoin because all we know that this is the most popular and most fast moving coin. Then give your 250$ at eth as back up in case that bitcoin price progress will not increase in small period of time and it will serve as a buffer on your other expenses.

having $ 1,000, I didn’t invest any dollar in Bitcoin but I would buy only altcoins. Now there are such low prices that I do not understand why people are afraid to buy altcoins. There are so many promising projects in the top 50 at coinmarketcap. Invest $ 100 in 10 projects and after a while, you will be very happy with your profit. if it will not work then you will lose not too much money

because altcoins has high risk to investment, bitcoin more profitable for me. ussually you can look the bitcoin increase price but altcoin nothing just with stable price

What I will do is leave investment in cryptocurrency for the time being, save my money for good. Investment in offline business or course to enhance my skills will be of utmost priority to me at this time the cryptocurrency market is unpredictable money can be lost.

Personally I would use 400 usd, to buy about 40 steem monster (splinterland) accounts, and the 600 usd in card rental, that is 15 usd per account, with that I would get to Diamante, I would have between 10 and 30 people playing my accounts, with the condition of 50% of what they get in quest is theirs and the decs, I easily recover the 400 usd from the accounts, and the next 30 days or 2 seasons, I should have taken out some valuable cards hopefully 300 usd or more, during the first 30 days, I recover and take out 600 usd, so in 1 month at the latest I would have 1000 usd or more again

Ethereum and EOS are great among altcoins but this would be really a disastrous mistake if you are avoiding bitcoin totally. Bitcoin is also available at low prices and it is highly expected to increase in the value over next year. Altcoins only increase when bitcoin is increasing in value and you shall not avoid it if you want a great future in crypto market. Invest 500 dollars into bitcoin and 500 remaining in ethereum and EOS.

Some projects simply don't have intention to follow the promising projects due to the competition. I have used the many altcoins for payment purpose, some projects have a faster transaction per second rate. XRP an XML have the higher speed per transaction and the transaction is confirmed in matter of seconds.

The performance of the altcoins are disappointing. With time people will lose interest in projects other than bitcoin. There is hardly any life in altcoins to stand and move on there own. investing in exchange tokens is a very good idea. I would even allocate 200-300 dollars in order to invest them in new exchange tokens, which are just beginning to appear now. There are so many promising exchanges that are now creating their tokens. their growth potential is now very difficult to assess, but if everything goes well in their development, you can make very good money

Probably, if I would be having $1,000 I will part it to buy more Bitcoin and the other part will be buying potential Altcoins to be hold for a while why waiting for the market to recover so that when that time comes, the prices of those will also rise up. Having $1,000 by this moment of time will give you the capacity and capability to buy many crypto for sure because the market is still down so the prices of many Altcoins are still cheap and affordable to be purchased and hold for a while. How can you participate in the IEO of those exchanges for only $ 1,000?, they require you to hold the token of exchange for at least 1 month. And to get the maximum number of tickets you need to hold a lot of their tokens, so I think $ 1000 is not enough for you to participate in the IEO of the top exchanges. It is better to look for cheap altcoins and reduce them many times than ATH, then buy and hold it in the long term, that would be the best way to make a profit on such a low budget

conditions will be better if investor confidence in altcoin can increase. bitcoin indeed dominates existing trades. what we hope for is the growth of bitcoin which also fosters altcoin trading. when both market growth occurs simultaneously I think conditions will be better.

If I have to choose to invest in cryptocurrency, it's true that I agree with you to better invest in bitcoin than in other coins. This does not mean that other coins are not profitable but for me personally investing in bitcoin will have more potential or greater opportunity to make profits compared to other coins, maybe for me 25% can be invested in some coins that we think have the potential for us to use to make profits.

I would add BTC to this list, you can also consider only BTC for investment, yet there is more confidence in BTC than in altcoins. If you are considering altcoins, then I would advise you to keep ETH.

1000 dollar isn't a big figure, but i would still split the money into some coins. I would invest the Bitcoin with 500 dollar. And with the remaining  500 dollar, i buy EOS, ETH and BNB at a certain rate.
