Adamnite: A scalable and secure blockchain development platformIn the thirteen years since Satoshi Nakamoto invented Bitcoin in 2009, both digital assets and blockchain technology have become a cultural phenomenon. Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Decentralized Applications (dApps), and InterPlanetary File Storage (IPFS), among others, have completely redefined how we store and transmit value. Every year, more and more people are using a technology that was once relegated to cypherpunks and criminals who wished to peddle illicit materials away from the watchful eye of the government. However, despite the increasing number of individuals participating in the overall ecosystem, real-world adoption seems to remain far away. The past couple of years have shown that although blockchain technology is becoming increasingly appealing to the average investor, its real world use cases are limited due two fundamental issues: scalability and security. Developers using blockchain technology to write smart contracts that will eventually be used in large scale dApps often have to contend with learning new programming languages, mastering side chains, optimizing their contracts for fees, and ensuring that their application is secure. This often leads to applications that have severe security or scalability issues; since 2017, millions, if not billions, of dollars have been lost in DeFi exploits. Applications that avoid exploitation still have to face scalability issues; they are often slow, and can cost users arduous fees to use them consistently. These issues prevent blockchain technology from being adopted by both individual developers, who find it too cumbersome to learn, and businesses, who are tuned off by a perceived lack of security and cost.
With Adamnite, we seek to provide a blockchain development platform that is geared toward developers. Adamnite's goal is to make blockchain technology more adoptable by enabling developers to easily build secure and efficient applications. Adamnite's core philosophy is centered around simplicity, security, and scalability. It is meant to be used by any developer around the world, from a seasoned smart contract engineer to a college student participating in a hackathon. Adamnite is meant to be the "Python" of blockchain technologies; it is meant to be a simple yet powerful platform that can be used by both hobbyists and large-scale businesses. Coming with a compiler that checks for logical validity through knowledge verification and running on a modified Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) Consensus Mechanism that guarantees speed and efficiency, Adamnite will transform how blockchain technology is used in our society.

Learn More and ContributeRight now, we are entirely open-source. We currently have developers all over the world working to build our basic architecture, and have multiple designers, front-end developers, and general contributors helping with other aspects such as marketing, website design, and developer outreach. We are constantly looking for new contributors, and welcome anyone with a passion for blockchain technology, regardless of background. Our plan is to build out the initial specs of the project in the upcoming months, and then hold a public crowdsale to fund the development of the project.
