Good Morning,
My account sehoon (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1102463;sa=summary) got locked for security reasons after I changed my password. It didn't get hacked. Right now, I sent an email to: locked...@bitcointalk.org but they haven't replied.

P.S. I forgot my password and tried to log in several times. And I came to the conclusion that I should just change my password using my e-mail and secret question.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

If you can prove you are the owner of the account, team will unlock the account. It will take some times because the queue is full of more works I think. Don't worry, you will get your account back.

It's not an instant process. My account was locked too but they unlocked it after verifying everything. Be patient for the moment & also sending multiple emails won't help. the only thing you can do is wait patiently.

Are u sure no body else has access to your email address?
Because whenever you change the password a link to lock your account is sent to the original email used for registration in case someone else changed the password.

As far as I know, sometimes, your account may also get locked if you change password numerous times, it's an automatic process, if the bot identify your activities as suspicious, your account may get locked.

Didn't heard about that automatic process. But when a user changes their password they get an email saying ''if you didn't change your password you can lock your account by clicking this link.''

I think OP clicked that link accidentally or he used an open-source email like yopmail where anyone can visit and click that link.

I think it is just an automatic process. I don't remember clicking that "if you didn't change your password you can lock your account by clicking this link." Since I was intentionally changing my password because I forgot it.

We have a Secret Question section in the account setting page.

But it is always advised not to set anything. This is a useless feature because if you try to recover your password using Secret Question then the system locks the account. I think theymos changed it for some reason.

With OP I suspect this is exactly what happened. He had his Secret Question active and he used it to recover his password and that triggered to lock his account.

Anyway, you can try this too:
Try using the email password reset. Check that the email isn't ending up in your spam folder. If that doesn't work, email recoveries...@bitcointalk.org, ideally from the account's email address. Include your username. A signature will likely be required (see below).

That seems to be it. Looking over the Seclog there is an entry for the OP’s alt locked account that states:
Quote
•  Today at 08:42:30 AM - sehoon - password reset via secret question

If you want to remove the secret password feature once you restore your account you need to delete the content of both the question and answer (see [Solved]:Removing Secret Question already with an answer).

I think that good idea is to have your BTC address staked on forum,
in case something like this happen, you can always have this as a proof

Yeah, it's good to have one staked. It makes the whole process of proof of account ownership much easier but in case OP didn't stake any address, he should not lose hope. He should just send an account recovery request using the original email used to register the account stating  reasons on how he lost access to his account. He could still be helped.
