It says "For security, your account has been locked", so maybe it's not really a ban. However, I've seen another user with the same message while he was actually banned (for some reason).

So you'll have to wait for an mod to come here confirm. Meanwhile, I would check this thread in case it's only a lock: Recovering hacked/lost accounts

It isn't ban yet it is just locked, probably there is unrecognized activity going on with your account and the forum locked it. You can visit this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0 to give you an idea how to recover it.

Seems @TryNinja give it first, just follow the link and that will solve your problem, though it will take time as there are still accounts in queue for it.

This looks like an account lock to me, just email locked...@bitcointalk.org with your concern as instructed.

You should be given an email address in the error message. Send an email there and you will be given further instructions.

if he was banned recently his userid should show up on modlog page, or recorded on bpip
also seclog doesn't show anything on his username too,
so it was not auto lock because of "password reset via secret question"

Maybe the permaban was kind of implemented differently on his case especially if his account really committed plagiarism on its part so one of the admins implementing the ban might have clicked or issued the permaban wrongly to his account, I might be wrong here so I'm just giving one of the possible scenarios why he got locked and got banned at the same time since bans and locks are also implemented manually.

If you don't remember posting that ^ ... you can safely say your account is compromised (infected wallet, miner ....etc). Reinstall OS, change passwords to email, exchange, forum, wallet etc and then drop an email to see what we can do.

P.S. when informing another user of a similar issue I was asked why the hell would they use their account just to vet for a petty scam like that. Answer : I really don't know. Nothing better to steal I assume and since they are involved in this...why not.
