McAfee has the reputation to speak up crazy things. Don't take his words that seriously. I see why people again started to talk about bitcoin. Today the price is $11,710 meaning bitcoin is setting up a bullish trend.

These are the same people who will tell you about a million dollar bitcoin price and when the bear will start hitting the market then they will say bitcoin is a bubble. Do your own due diligence. Bitcoin is here to stay. 1 Btc = 1 Btc always.

John is such a Captain Obvious. When Bitcoin price goes up significantly - he says that the coin is waking up. If in last 24h price would drop down, what would he say? Its a bear market and we should wait for bulls ?

We have crossed 11000 in last 24 hours and there are many bullish scenario for bitcoin. A bullish run for bitcoin is inevitable and on a long term basis, bitcoin is still the best performing currency.

I agree with McAfee that Bitcoin is will be going up in the long run.  It is also discussed in many streams of technical analysis in youtube, here is one example.  Another example of which is discussed by Chico Crypto that Bitcoin will possibly  reach 20k by the end of this year.  According to him (Chico) there are several reason why Bitcoin will reach this price..  So I guess this time McAfee is at least saying some sense.

McAfee, known for shilling any projects, can say anything that he wants, either positive or negative.

Now, what I'm more concern of, why others are taking all his statement as a big deal? Can we just trust our own judgement and analyzation? Does believing on him or let's say all popular names speculations will really help us achieved our goals?

We all know where bitcoin is heading to. No need to rely on any big names speculations and views.

You should expect that words coming from a known influencer since the movement is already moving. I don't know why he is still hyping it though as if we are not yet seeing how strong BTC's movement is now. As if its like he is doing this just because all the attention in the media now is not coming from him but from Craig Wright and libra coin that is why he is trying to make relatable in the crypto world again.

We ourselves see that the last three days, Bitcoin has been steadily growing in price and now it has already reached a price of more than $ 11,700. Therefore, John McAfee confirmed only the obvious. I would more like to hear from him about his earlier given forecast regarding the bitcoin price of a million dollars at the end of the year. He confirms his forecast or not. Otherwise, he will have to fulfill the promise. In my opinion, it is already obvious that we will not see such a price of bitcoin by the end of the year and he lost the bet. So what now are his current forecasts.

It's been awake for quite some time IMO, but I would definitely agree that this is going up in the long run. I don't always agree with what McAfee says (and I don't follow or track his Tweeting and activity much either, nor many people trading at al), but this does echo my long-term thinking in BTC and is a big reason why I'm continuing to DCA weekly and buy dips whenever I have funds available.

I would suggest to not follow the analysis of others too much though. Always best to make your own trading decisions and learn how to if you don't already know how, because it's your own money in play. You should be the one managing it, not somebody else.

I am just stating my own opinion about McAfee I am saying that he is smart because of the fact that he is not against Bitcoin not like Dimon, And my own opinion on trusting his words in bitcoin progressing another height, but sure we are free in stating our own opinion even though I am trusting the guy with every word he said doesn't mean I don't have my own thoughts and my own judgment about the topic, If there are wrong things to say about Bitcoin then I guess I will just ignore it, Because that is his own opinion he can sure still say stupid things once in a while.

Did this guy ever share a Technical Analysis or a Fundamental Analysis with someone?  
All his bold predictions are based on his unknown and private so-called "mathematical models". So he's just a attention whore, and nobody should care about his expectations on the Bitcoin price.

Enough of these bitcoin could go to zero a a million bullshit proclamations. It's not going to die, obviously. It's going up and up in the future because it's represents freedom and independence of the human race. It's impossible to overemphasize the importance of this invention.
Everyone capable of owning a whole bitcoin should acquire it while they still can to be part of the future elite rather than part of the ashes of collapsed fiat.

The whole crypto news/media space is pathetic. They are just grasping at straws looking for a clickbait headline. Nobody really cares what McAfee thinks. Not until altcoin pump-and-dump season begins, anyway!
