If a country were able to target miners directly, the miners are going to be able to find work arounds. Electricity cut off, use alternative source of energy or find a way to mask your mining. Black Hat Hackers already do this by mining through other people's pcs through bots and viruses that are scattered across any number of websites, files or other executables that people trigger without even realizing it.

Even a grey hat hacker could run a generator for power, then mask and reroute through proxies, VPNs and virtual OS on flash. Miners who know what they are doing can hide easily.

In 2015 to 2017 getting Bitcoin is very easy by participating in the Bounty Campaign.  But now all that is very difficult.  But we can still trade to get Bitcoin faster.  For me right now that's the best way to get Bitcoin, which is trading.

The market changes and that's the changes that we have to accept now, I was one of the many that benefited that time but this time I find it hard to make a decent money with bounty as there's a lot of scam projects out there and good projects usually last longer so we have to wait for a reward longer as well.

It's important that we should learn other ways to earn, not only with bounty hunting, for sure if we search enough we can find other opportunities online and also since we are in crypto, we have to learn how to trade as if we are successful, this could give us a good profit regardless of the market situation.

for now it is quite difficult to judge a potential bounty that is enough to pay us what we want. in fact, there are indeed so many bounties that are scams. there are enough other ways to produce bitcoin that we can learn, starting from trading, even selling products. it's just that it might also be quite difficult if we are just learning in that regard.

You are not far from the truth, either way you decides to take, each of them has different difficulties i would say,
Trading is not easy and definitely not for the inexperience because instead of earning you could end up losing all your trading funds

Mining is hard and is capital intensive, meaning if you are not financially buoyant you can't engage in it,

Holding also has its limitations because if you are not emotional strong you can't have the patient to hold,

Campaign is stressful, uncertain that you will get paid and even if you did get paid with tokens no guarantee there would be value,

At the end none of the above ways to earn btc is easy just like earning in offline is not easy, even life itself is not easy.

Somehow i feel the same way, it's hard to get bitcoin lately.  maybe because I am a casual user who only relies on income from signatures and bounties, and  the rest I do not master it. Seems like as a casual like me need to find another way or learn another method to gain bitcoin.

Selling altcoins for bitcoin right now would be very stupid considering how low altcoins have dropped in terms of their bitcoin price.  Right now is the time to buy altcoins instead of btc and watch your gains soar past bitcoin.  It is a lot easier to make money on alts than btc.

I'm not sure what OP's point is with this thread.  All of these things have been talked about ad nauseum, and they belong in the Beginners & Help section in my opinion.

But yeah, campaigns are a great way to earn bitcoin and it's too bad that there aren't many of them left.  Seems like a new one was popping up every day in 2016-2017, but now they've all sort of dried up.

FAUCET, the worst and not worth way to earn a coin

STAKING, almost same with HODLING but your got extra income to hold coin for long time. This is laziest way and the pain is when your pos coin going dump so ou will lose.

Faucets are a waste of time, but they are cool if you're just getting into bitcoin.  That's how I acquired my first tiny bit of btc, before I really knew how to get any.  After a while, though, you (hopefully) start to realize that the amount you get is trivial and isn't worth the effort.

Staking altcoins is a great way to earn passive income.  I'm a fan of NEO, and I love it because you don't even need to have the wallet running all the time.  I think all the PoS coins require that--but it's still worth it, IMO.

Well earning money is the hardest part of human race, it doesn't matter bitcoin or dollar you have to keep fighting. Those four point you gave it's really true for now days. Trading and Holding is really long term way to earn bitcoin. Other hand for mining we need best equipment to start which is much costly, and about the campaigns yeah it's too much hard to get a good campaign now days.

But you can earn btc to doing exchange. There are lot altcoin campaign out there. Pic a good bounty and after that coin get listed exchange with btc. I think it's better way to earn btc than btc signature campaign.

If you are currently employed and you wan't a portion of your salary to be converted into crypto assests. You can ask your employer to use Bitwage and they (Bitwage) will take care of the rest, but of course there's a corresponding fees for such service. This way you don't need to convert it on your own or look for a job that pays in Bitcoin.

HODLING. The laziest of them all. All you need to do is to buy a definite amount and wait for it to get higher. The only enemy is the long term patience and greedyness. Its tiring but i continue fighting.


MINING. Well, i skipped this because i dont mine and ai dont have any resources to do it.


CAMPAIGNS. This thing becomes rare these days and if they have, theere are only few people who get listed. Most probably those with higher ranks or higher merit achievement.

I always woke up having 20 posts deleted almost everyday and all the comments ive posted removed because of off-topic reasons. I always end up not having a minimimum post count on my campaign and seems like my account are the only account who is monitored. Its more frustrating i guess. I feel like they do not want me to tell my opinion or something.

Signature campaigns arent that much profitable not like last year. Even i dont meet the post count every week, i still try my best to give more intellectual opinion as possible. I continue fighting

then expand you horizon these things are not the only ones where you can earn bitcoin. there are services that you might be able to offer to others and ask for bitcoin as a payment.
or learn new skills like video editing/web developer etc.. it might take you months but it will benefit you in the end. all the things I mentioned can be learned online and can be done on your free time.

The truth is that signature campaigns remains as the easiest way to get hold of some Bitcoins to most of the users. But nowadays, we have increasing competition for the slots, on top of the lower payments and lesser number of campaigns to take care of. When I joined this forum in 2012, the campaigns were plentiful, and the competition was quite low.

Back then, there were campaigns like the Prime Dice signature campaign, which used to pay an amazing BTC2.400 per month. For comparison, the best paying signature campaign now pays around 1/20th of that amount. That campaign also used to have a huge number of participants (hundreds of users) and now most of the campaigns have 10 or 20 at the most.

That is great. At least, you can still make a profit from trading, although it is not as much as 2017. I believe that if you still continue, you will get a bigger profit in the future. The most important here is you can improve your skills in trading so you can get more profit from trading. So when the bull run comes, you will make a bigger profit like in 2017.

You are doing the right thing not to give up.  Usually in such cases when nothing works, weak people give up and leave.  And you are a great fellow.  I admire such people.  I’m not so, but really looking forward to a new growth in bitcoin.

Earlier there were more giveaway from different projects and those projects used to show higher levels of growth. Further after the days of 2017 the difficulty increased as bounty hunting isn't that profiting and more earned tokens were idle in the wallet as those tokens didn't get listed to the exchanges.

Another thing, now bitcoin earning has got turned to be a investment based earning. More the investment made at the right time period gives a big return out of the same.
