If Stratis has benefits over Ethereum, people would be using Stratis.

The cryptocurrency has a daily trade volume of barely half a million dollars every day. This is woefully insufficient for most ICOs, many of which want to RAISE upwards of $1 million in a day.

Not only this, but Stratis has been in an almost perpetual decline for over 2 years.

Although newer ico launching platforms like strat, eos, stellar, neo have better features for launching an ico but eth being the premiere platform with the largest community and dozens of dexes available makes it still the best platform to create new ico tokens and projects on its platform.

Many platforms for launching ICOs would like to take the place of Ethereum. However, no matter how good they are, they cannot compare with Ethereum, because its popularity has no limits. Someday, a worthy competitor may appear, but so far the king of altcoins is still the best.

If we are talking about technology, I think Stratis is much more advanced compared to ETH. But in the end, ETH has more than what Stratis can do. The main reason why people use ETH as their platform due to its simplicity compared to Stratis. And it is a popular platform and widely used.
while Stratis is gold that has yet to be polished. Even if both of them are offering the same thing, it will not give Stratis much that attention because only a few that use their platform.

The only benefit from stratis over ethereum is the scalability of the platform itself. As you can see there are few projects were using stratis as its main platform or tokenization platform in the past and it's called obsidian.
But from the popularity and complexity of the platform and ethereum is still become a winner in this comparison and as you can see how ethereum is still sitting at the second place of coinmarketcap while stratis is always going down from its peak area. Stratis is not a good coin anymore. It's a speculation coin.

And hey, don't forget the current cmc rank : 2 (eth) vs. 99 (Strat). Now, where is Stratis compared to Eth? And to be honest, I rarely encountered projects that are utilizing Strat network as compared to eth network. So I don't think this is even comparable at the moment.

Eventhough stratis have an advantage over ethereum in terms of technology, the reputation built by Ethereum is far greater and outweigh the advantages of stratis.  People do not only look for a better technology, they also consider the stability of the platform, usage, adoption and number of developers involved.  That is the reason why we see Ethereum is often chosen as platform for projects.

Stratis is past, only ethereum will survive in this fight. Ethereum has a big community, a lot of investors and skilled team of developer, I think the winner is obvious

It's been long I heard about this Stratis reason being that other valuable platforms like XLM, ETH have overshadowed it. On the other hand, on what grounds can Stratis beat ETH to become a prominent launching blockchain for ICOs? I still find it hard to compare both because the difference is so clear starting from their ranking in CMC. The funny thing is, many platforms being compared with ETH is still going down in rank while ETH still maintains its position, I think that's a good reason to show that till further notice, ETH remains the top altcoin.
