The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning...

I always put two things at the back of my mind before I begin a game, I might win or I might lose. So, when am playing two thoughts are always running through my mind, what do I do next when I lose this game? Do I pause, double bet or quit so while playing am also providing answers to the question. The other thing that runs through my mind is how I would invest the money if I win, thoughts of the best places for investment, the business I could do that would guarantee constant winning rather than gambling that is uncertain.

I enjoy this two thoughts because it helps me put in my best into playing knowing that I have a project that needs to be  done and also when I lose, I am easily able to accept my fate that it’s just a game and not a do or die thing, so it does not affect my feelings.

The very first thing that comes to mind after winning is that wow is luck favpring me and if I continue gambling more can I win more. Secodnly I caluate the profit/loss for that moment, is am I still in more loss or made some profit so that based on this my next move could be decided upon. Thirdly I check how much money still left in the wallet to play for.

It is gambling so I do think the same. I am not that kind of people that are so positive in things, so every time I won, I usually take it for granted thinking that it would be the same for that series of bets but it did not happen, that is the time I am addicted to gambling.

We used to risk the reward money again into gambling most of the time unless we got huge reward in single bet because small rewards cannot satisfy our greediness so we are going to play again when we taste wins few times.

But, I don't see it as being a coward to take bigger risks. I see it more as a smart move.

Well, being a coward isn't that bad at all, besides it can save you on some special cases, though I can't say it was a pretty smart move besides, it just sometimes happens to us, so basically it was just a mere coincidence, something like that.

If it happens on you all the time you win then you're kinda lucky for it will not cost you too much loss.

Honestly, I don't see it being a coward instead it is being precautious.  It is thinking the possibility of losing when currently winning, and or the ratio of reward and risk.  Rational people often bet on a low risk thing.  Even though the reward is small, they will make up for it in more winning chance.

I only consider two things. Setting up my limitation and my targeted profits. Every time I am winning what usually came to my mind is when I already reached up to that target I am going to end my session and I get very conscious not to be very emotional lol

Well, this is a good discussion because we are assuming that we are on the positive side. Well, assuming that I won the jackpot and I am in the win-win situation, of course, I will quit the game for a while for example in the online casino. Guess what, and where I am going to do. I will go to any fast food and gift my self something that I can spend for my self. Indeed, hitting winning goals is just a good purpose and very lucky achievements.

As you have also said a win win Carrier as you assume positive but what about you haven a win lost because gambling is a win lose game if you can remember. Personally, if I win in a gambling casino I always like to game the more to get more winnings.

If I win in gambling I always stick to the winning until I start loosing back to the gambling platform and with this, sometimes I don't stand the chance to ho home with anything.

Rational people often bet on a low risk thing.  Even though the reward is small, they will make up for it in more winning chance.

You might also want to count those people who has just a low budget for games like these 😂, exactly what I meant!
Though this just another way of provoking our chances on gambling.

When winning, I think everyone's experiencing that 'more greed' on themselves. Like we want to win more. Since it's fun. The feeling of winning is fun that's why we always wanted to win and that's when the greed comes. We don't get satisfied with 1 win and want to win even more, not thinking what if we lose.

When we started winning, we get even more greedy and this lack of control on our self is the main reason of our loss.

I think the main thing that people think of is the unresolved dreams that any person has about becoming rich, owning an island, cars and so on. All these are just dreams and need hard work to obtain. Nobody becomes rich by gambling - its the hard truth - rest of you might disagree but I know the truth. However the false belief is what makes people gamble more thinking they can win big but they are actually making the casino win by playing.

If you see it the other way, that casino owner is actually living that thug life.

People unresolved cannot be fulfilled in a day and all of sudden by gambling. Only those people dream come true who are skillful and have patience.
People want to make one big bet and win it making a lot of profit, it does not happen in most of the time in the real world.

I agree that whenever you are talking about gambling stories, it's always what you are saying, what you experience, and what you are going to do with the winning amount in gambling, etc. It has ever been discussed in different ways, especially in the gambling discussion part. So I agree to review what comes into the mind when you win.

For me, I don't think anything comes into my mind when I win, and I know what I'm feeling, happiness. It's not a matter of what I thought about because it doesn't affect the chances I could have to win that corresponding round. Maybe in a series of poker or blackjack where you think you are counting cards, that could be the mindset or what's on my mind on that time but nothing, it's all feelings for me. After a few wins, then there comes a thought of greediness, what I'm going to buy with the money that I got.

Basically, to sum it up. No thoughts with one win, continuous winnings, what I can do with the money. Feelings of excitement and greediness, nothing more.

I am always spending the money I will win in my mind, most times I start to think about all the money can do for me even before I win, I keep on calculating how I would double bet and how  I will celebrate among my family but all this thoughts disappears into the air once the game is over and the reality hits that no one wins in gambling lol

I sometimes wish there is a way to control this thoughts because I believe it’s one of the reason we end up performing poorly while playing. The heart is filled with anxiety, fears and hopes and all this emotions joined together is the reason why we may never win because to win in gambling, the heart must be free from all kinds of thoughts that could affect how the game is been played. It’s just bad that it is impossible to stop this thoughts from coming.

Patience. Indeed. That's the most brutal thing/word in my mind right now. Why? Because with that habit, you'll end up losing it all, it is quite true that goals aren't met within just a day,and we patiently wait,... Yeah, patiently wait until we run dry, until it never comes to us or might we get unto the point of failing in due of patience.

I'm starting to believe that any beliefs on any gamblers can lead to a bit miserable life.

I do not think gambling can convince people if they have not done it yet or tried it.
Most people have too little money or are afraid to lose it.
But with people who have done it can be quite possible.

Honestly, I have gambled so much that I have unfortunately became immune to winning emotion. Like I know I am sad when I am losing because I put a limit to myself and whenever I lose as much as that limit I stop gambling so when I lose I know end of my gambling spree is ending however when I win I do not feel the emotions I used to feel.

I think I need new type of gambling, I play a lot of dice and winning on dice doesn't give me pleasure anymore, I just know I will end up losing all of that later on so it is just prolonging the inevitable. However, I feel like if I switch to poker or sportsbook (both of which I play a bit but not as much as dice) then maybe I can have fun again when I win, it may not be my favorite for now but maybe it will grow on me if I gamble enough there as well.

To be honest in my mind is not exposed to bet and bet again, but I set a target of my victory with a sizable amount. Because with that number I have thought about where I will take it. Examples such as buying vehicle accessories or even getting my hobby outside of gambling.

Well, for me, I didn't win immediately I started gambling (first timer effect I guess). After two to three more games, I won! The pay was 'okay' then, what came to my mind then was 'I can do this thing even better' then I started playing more.
There are time when I play and win more than losing, I start feeling like a perfectionist in it, telling it to my head. Losing again usually bring me back to reality. Lol

What can of win will that be, losing and winning is part of gambling, you can win all the time and you can lose all the time, you need to get used to it, if you always want to win then gambling is not for you, if I win big amount I will withdraw half of it, so I can regain my past losses and play half of it.

I feel excited and my adrenaline also pumped after i win some amount, and after that i thinking for a while, "what  should i do next with this money? Spend it, invest it, or buy nice things?

I think that is how things go normally when we experience winning—elated and your guts is telling you to bet further. It's like, you think that fortune is on your side. Because, I admit, that's what also comes in my mind, first.

However, personally, after winning, fear also slowly kicks in; fear of losing, particularly. And several questions that begins with "what if," such as 'What if I lose this time around?' Something like that. But, I don't see it as being a coward to take bigger risks. I see it more as a smart move. I mean, thinking before making another decision and analyzing my win and my chances before putting in another bet.

Learn to control yourself. It's not always we win. There's also a high possibility of losing when you bet right after you won. You are not always lucky.

So better take time to study what you will do next in order to not lose all of your winnings. You wouldn't want to waste it.

Patience is a virtue. And wisdom is also needed in this.

@Lafu this does happen to all of us and it seems I am afraid to play gambling or betting after winning. The fear of losing is always there as gambling is almost about losing money. If I win the desired to keep playing is there then after I will begin to think "what if I play now and lose what I just make"?

But the question is whether you can stop after your big defeat? from most people they will always chase losses after they have lost before. It might be ok if you stop when your big win, but what if you don't have that big win? Will you continue to pursue that big win until all your money is used up?

I myself will stop when I reach the target that I have set, I have 2 targets, namely winning and losing, when I reach my loss target first then I will stop and accept losses then return to betting tomorrow.

Is it not better to stop that to end up losing the remaining money? This is the first question that comes to my mind whenever am in such position. I have noticed that trying to recover loss is the fastest way to losing more, so it’s better to stay clear. There is a saying that a bird at hand is worth 2 in the bush. This is the first thing I remember and then I do not find it difficult any longer to put an end to that game for the day.

It takes great understanding, calculation and wisdom to succeed in gambling. I have seen recovery as a dangerous habit and once a player has been able to overcome this habit, then succeeding as a gambler would be made much easier.

Whats on my mind? Well I want to go on travel abroad buy house and lot  buy car.honestly thats on my mind.because I always dream of that I have that.so if I gonna win thats what I want to do.

That's out of the play bro,... Playing gambling games won't take you from what you're dreaming to do, not to mention the money that will be wasted from your pocket instead of spending it on your way when in other countries.
Even lottery games can't take you there, unless you're way to lucky just like the bastard genius who won 12 times in a row.

I typically just think about cashing out my wins and perhaps buying something I want or have wanted for some time upon winning. I used to just keep gambling until I used all my allocated money up or until my balance was a few times bigger than the initial deposit, but I started to do things differently recently and it's been working pretty well. As much as I'd like to win again (and again), I'd also like to have something new that I can actually use.
