Bernie Sanders went on to the JRE podcast and got over 5 million views over a couple of days. During a little over an hour, Bernie has time to make his agenda clear, unlike what we saw in the democratic debates.

If you're at all interested in what a Bernie Presidency might be like, and I believe he has a shot it's a good watch.

I am serious, promote Ron Paul, He actually believes in bitcoin and Liberty. He will end the fed and show us them aliens.

I am not expert but I think the best thing is for us to just vote on issues, rather than voting people to vote for us, now we have a say on the laws we must abide by and where our tax money goes.

Thank god someone else notices that Joe does this. He doesn't have any real views of his own, he just agrees with anyone else on the podcast and that makes the other person look really good as well.

Obviously this went 'viral' by the way, Joe Rogan alone gets millions of views rather quickly but when you put one of the Democratic frontrunners on the show as well OBVIOUSLY he's going to go 'viral'

But Joe doesn't want to make waves because he wants everyone to come onto his show, so it's not like he grills everyone that comes onto his show as a way to get them to answer the tough questions. The guy lobs softballs at everyone and then agrees with them, which is one of the BIG reasons everyone goes onto his shows.

Au contraire. If it wasn't for Joe Rogan I probably would have never gotten interested in bitcoin. It wasn't thanks to him so much as Andreas Antonopoulos appearing on his podcast. He's been on 3 times as far as I know, and each time is awesome. There is not a clearer, more well spoken ambassador to the world for bitcoin than Andreas.

Maybe I was a little too strong on it having no value, as that's unfair to him.

I just fail to see the point in an interviewer agreeing with everyone that comes on the show. I'd love to see him argue with both sides to get some real information -- instead of people just using him as an avenue to promote themselves and get free advertisement to the millions of people that watch him.

He's a great part of the podcast world yes, but he doesn't challenge any ideas, which is something I don't really like.

What you mean nothing has changed?  Look where the stock market is since Trump was elected.  Look at the corporate profits under Trump. 

Under Bernie, the US debt will double in the first year. The drug, gun stocks will be collapse which will bring the rest of the stock market to its knees.  Corporate profits will suffer across the board.

I've watched a lot of JRE episodes and there are times where Joe really does expose, confront and ridicule bad ideas, especially when he disagrees with them. I like that he lets people talk and works with them.

As for him not making waves, he does host a lot of very controversial people that the MSM would never give hour after hour of airtime to, people such as Alex Jones and Jordan Peterson, both of whom I disagree with on most things. Yeah, Joe wants them to potentially come back so he doesn't become hostile but he does push back on some things with his guests.

1.Big corporations like Amazon and Netflix pay almost no taxes. The rich people in the billionaire class can write the laws to benefit themselves. Bernie taxing them would cut the deficit.

2.Bernie is also against the rampant military spending that only enriches the corporations that sell us these expensive toys. Honestly I don't think paying more for expensive toys wins wars. I think having a more functional country is a better long term strategy.

3. The US taxpayers bailed out Wall Street. A tiny tax on certain transactions is only fair, and it would limit high frequency stock trading which if we're honest is just a high tech form of stealing. This wouldn't really affect regular people who buy a stock because they believe in a company and hold it for five, ten or more years.

For every big thing Bernie proposes he explains where the money will come from. When congress votes to spend another half trillion dollars every year for the military they don't.

I understood your comment perfectly. You want to convey that you are a prick who thinks they know things they don't. It was pretty clear.

The entire world is being squeezed by America's corporate profiteers. Whatever Sanders can do to lessen the stranglehold (if anything) is welcomed.

Assuming this would naturally lead to a depression and mass layoffs is nothing but your assumption. We did have a recession under Bush and we may have a recession under Trump, which would throw every theory you have about how the economy works right out the window.

This would be very good but I also think probably unlikely to come about. High frequency trading is the backbone of the industry, they would find a way to get waivers in for industry so they'd never pay those fees. I think Sanders would be able to have some positive impact in this direction but not nearly the amount needed for real reform.

Except when people said this about Trump is was 100% hysteria, as it always has been, and continues to be. Not based on policy positions, but based on people's emotional reactions to him. It is quite arguable that Bernie Sander's policy positions could very easily destroy the economy of the USA. Free healthcare for example, just one of his policy positions could absorb the entirety of all tax collections and then some. Then he has positions such as raising the minimum wage, which again demonstrate complete ignorance of economics and have an overall destructive effect to the economy because it results in employers cutting hours and firing people to make up the difference if not just outright shutting down. There are so many examples of his insane inability to comprehend even basic economic principles.
