What wallet do you prefer?

For me, it's a matter of going with what your used to as, it feels wrong to condemn that which you ain't used to. I'm very much used to the ELECTRUM WALLET and so far it haven't given me any serious problem except for the fees though, it varies with period and it's dependent on blockchain congestion which is a cryptosphere thing but then, the fee is my only issue otherwise, it's a cool wallet. Easy to navigate and set up. You can recover your wallet with ease so long as your seed phrase is intact and so, I'm okay with ELECTRUM at the moment.

I mostly use desktop based wallets because I feel safe and secure with it for storing my bitcoin earnings. I seldom use mobile based app wallets because phones were prone for information stealer since we install unknows apps sometimes and mostly of apps access private files on our phone leaving our information vulnerable.

Best for me have been decentralized soft wallets, I mean I have a hardware wallet I barely use and barely got funds in there. Soft wallet works best for me but it comes with a great deal of trust and care

I prefer paper wallet. So far, I've been using paper wallet for every kind of wallet I want to create. I find it easy and safe to create and use.

At the beginning of my crypto journey, since im just a newbie that time, im only using an online wallet in which is i think the most user friendly for beginners but when i actually heard some sort of people getting hack, i was kinda worried. Recently i bought trezor, im still not use to it but with hardware wallet, im more confident that im not going to lose all my hard earned coins.

I use hardware wallet for savings or long term investment, I used web wallet for micro transactions so my money in my web wallet is just small amount and I use software wallets for regular transactions. I don't choose paper wallet since it's vulnerable to natural elements I think you should also consider mnemonic metal wallets to store your private keys.

I have been using a bit of a mix over the last 7 years or so. Mainly I have been using my Trezor but that was before Metamask was a thing and before BlockFi and other websites where you can earn interest on your holdings. Now I hold a portion in my Trezor and the remaining on wherever it's possible to earn a solid return without a high level of risk.

I will prefer hardware wallet for storing coins. I think this is the best kind of wallet for storing crypto coins offline. Hardware wallets are offline and totally decentralized that we can only open this wallet with private keys. And it is available in hardware form. So, we can store it at a safe place. Where no one knows about this wallet.

If I remember correctly, Trustwallet was acquired by binance in 2018 and they announced trustwallet is an open source project. and I feel secure when using it because this is a product acquired and developed by the team of binance, the world's largest exchange today.

I have used Trust Wallet, it is easy to use and you are right: Binance bought it.
Binance, which is an exchange you are supposed to trust your coins, it is now the owner of a wallet you are supposed to trust as well.

Well, I would like to share my opinion.

Best of the best!
If you're looking to get security and also have a storage for holding crypto , hardware wallet  is one of the best options.
There are also paper wallets, it is an interesting alternative, but the hardwallet is more advantageous in all aspects.

DESKTOP
Better options, Electrum and Wasabi, if you don't have the purchasing power to buy hardware wallet, these two are good alternatives.
Wasabi being focused on privacy, it has the option to mix the coins to preserve user anonymity.
Electrum, on the other hand, is good, one of the things I like most about Electrum is that it can be used by an inexperienced user, but it also has several relevant features that can help from the less experienced user to a crypto specialist.
By the way, getting away from the theme, if someone wants to use a wallet for ETH (and other tokens, including ERC20) MeW is an interesting and valid choice.

MOBILE
Mycelium and Electrum, both are good, I don't advise to store huge amounts of crypto in mobile wallet, I think it's interesting you have a certain amount of Bitcoin in these wallets, because depending on the situation, it can be useful nowadays.

Binance, which is an exchange you are supposed to trust your coins, it is now the owner of a wallet you are supposed to trust as well.

As attacks are made on crypto stuff in the coming months, only the most decentralized wallets will survive. These wallets can not be identified as being controlled by any identifiable group of people..... who can be leaned on by the attackers.  I believe EXODUS will lose massive amounts of people in the years to come as it is not a decentralized wallet anymore....
