The whole thing is super shady and it looks like they're going to stick with "he just killed himself" end of story...which I think is very unlikely.

It's worth pointing out though, that the whole "camera malfunctioned" seems to be made up.

We don't know if there was a camera, where it was pointing or if it was working at this point.

This part is from 12-16 hours before he killed himself:

They conferred in the meeting room for roughly five hours, talking about legal issues and the case.

At one point, a therapist at the jail stopped by and asked Mr. Schoen to leave the room because she had to meet privately with Mr. Epstein.

The therapist told Mr. Schoen that her visit was part of the suicide protocol.

Mr. Epstein “said he was fine with it,” Mr. Schoen said. “She stayed max five minutes.”

When the session was finished, Mr. Schoen said he joked with Mr. Epstein and the therapist about how short it had been.

Mr. Schoen said that by the time the meeting ended, Mr. Epstein seemed excited about their working together on the case.

“One thing I can say for sure is when I left him he was very, very upbeat,” said Mr. Schoen, who never had the chance to join the team.

Mr. Epstein tried desperately to ingratiate himself with fellow inmates, the consultant who had spoken with inmates said. He had heard from two inmates that Mr. Epstein transferred money into at least three other inmates’ commissary accounts — an exercise often used in the jail to buy protection.

Smells like a murder to me.

A lot of killings are going on day in day out and the circumstances around his dead makes it suspicious! Of a truth a lot of manipulations are going on and this type of death do leaves us with another argument of why things happen the way there does? I think more investigations will reveal the cause of Jeff’s death, however, my mind is telling me that it might not be succide as claimed.

It's quite obvious that committed suicide. At some moment, his neck compressed itself, breaking several spinal cord bones and compressing the arteries. These actions by his neck caused brain death and then of course all organs stopped functioning.

Necks on occasion exhibit such behavior, usually because of their hate of the particular brain they are in close proximity with. Not being very smart, they do not realize that when they kill the brain, they die also.

It makes total sense, and seems very likely, that he would want to kill himself.  He had a very comfortable life as a billionaire with a private island, private jet, all the girls he wanted, etc.  Then one day he gets off his jet and boom he's facing the reality that he will very likely be spending the rest of his life in prison with a pedophile label.  From the living the best of the best lives to the worst of the worst.  It's enough to make anyone want to die.

What doesn't make sense is that he was able to kill himself without the help of someone who would prefer he were dead so that he could never share whatever secrets he had.

I think the most likely reality is that some prison officials were promised a large sum of money if Epstein were able to kill himself somehow.

I don't think he made his 'direction' public at all.
He went from living a life where he was able to get whatever he wanted to facing the very likely reality that he'd be spending the rest of his life in prison.  It's an extremely resonable assumption to make that anyone who went through this kind of life change would be at high risk of committing suicide.
