In my case, at first my family is skeptical when I opened up about investing in bitcoin but when they saw that i’m really interested and when I explained it to them what it is exactly then they came to realize that it’s a good investment and they are very supportive to me now in investing in crypto and my sibling is also planning to invest too. I think it is more of educating your family member about crypto in a simple manner.

Bitcoin is simply known as Cryptocurrency, The business need to have courage to start with, in my family i was the first person to start the business and them keep telling me is waste of time and resource, after my little way of understanding explanation, not until bitcoin hit $19,000 plus, which i have invested early and show them the proved, how bitcoin can convert to local currency, and also my first super car with a new home, i bought and currently still have more investment...

back to my parents' way of thinking and point of view, I also sometimes have difficulty explaining what crypto is, sometimes they also complain whether this is useful or not, all I can do is prove it to them, then slowly they will understand, what our results are from crypto if there are already results and continue to produce well they support but if they don't they will think that we did something in vain

In my case, at first they thought I was dealing with illegal things. lol
My mother advised me to stay away because I might get caught by the authorities.
Of course, she didn't know how crypto really works. She might have heard negative things about it.
But later on, she realized that it is not what she was thinking before, especially when she learned that I can send the money to my bank account.
Because if it is really illegal, I would not send the money to my bank account. Sometimes it is really funny how people react the first time they hear about crypto.

A good article indeed for those whom for 40.But still the end of the article is sad.,,Cryptocurrency  is a software protocol that lets you send money over the internet,,and it's all?If cryptocurrencies were introduced to me like this, I would never use them in my life.I agree my parents is difficult for me to explain what cryptocurrencies are, but I am happy to tell my peers about cryptocurrencies as much as possible and as interesting as possible. Reaction and attitude have all different.Someone admires and someone is simply neutral.

Take it from Satoshi's mouth: "If you don’t believe me or don’t get it, I don’t have time to try to convince you, sorry".

Personally, my family doesn't get the need of it because "oUr LoCaL mOnEy iS FiNe"; and the typical criticism that it's not physical; and if I'm going to try to defend it, they're just like "ehh ok". So basically, they're not interested. So what do I do? Just go throughout my day normally. You really just cant get everyone to be interested in such a niche subject.

Some people take longer to fully understand things, especially if they're initially skeptic. I'm sure sooner or later they'll hear or read about it somewhere and want know more. Your job is to be there when they have question.

Some of my friends are skeptic about making money from online, and once I talk about bitcoin to them, they don't have a passion, and they let the chance to buy bitcoin at a low price. But in my family, although they don't know much about bitcoin, they let me to choose what I want to do, and after they knew that I am trying to make money from cryptocurrency, they only say "Oh, that's good for you, so you now can make money, we hope you can get huge money from that".

Yep, that is like a new power to me, and that makes me to feel better and want to earn more money.

Never tell your family that you are into crypto. Since I'm from a third world country, money is very important here that your family might be greedy to you for the sake of it. Since my family knows that I'm into crypto, the decisions I make are being hinder by them which forced me to separate ways. It's hard to admit but they only think cryptocurrency as a source of income. Nonetheless, I still support their financial needs.
With your opinion. My opinion is mixed. I am sharing the same opinion with you. Sharing it with family. Negative talk all the time. Always on the lookout for new things.

My family don't know much about the power of crypto yet but most of my friend did as regard the ways it work and how it can change the world but much are not done by them in order world to make effort in joining the market,

It never to late though but I wish I did see someone how had explain this to me in those days that bitcoin was very little in dollar cos I got to know it back then in 2013 when it was around $13-20 but never do a research to know if it will worth today what it is and I believe it just start it move .

Hello everyone, good morning, yesterday I had a conversation with my family about crypto(BTC if we being specific).

Im HODL for a long time now, and really believe that in the end crypto actually do fly to do moon( More about Moon:)

my family thinks its a bullshit, and think that im wasting my time and money. I try to explain it countless of times and it seems that is simply imposable for to them to understand

So, im just curious what your family/friends think about it?

I've entered into Cryptocurrency when it is already in the mainstream so I don't have a problem explaining it to them and besides, they saw that I'm buying my own things, using Cryptocurrency paying my bills from my bounty and trading Cryptocurrency I have a very supportive family and I'm glad.

They initially thought it was some scam or something. When they saw the prices rising they were kinda impressed but at the same time thought it was fishy. It's hard explaining the system, especially even I don't understand most of the blockchain tech but I just tell them that it is a currency that people use and that it's no different from having foreign reserves.

That is at least understandable to most people. Where I am most people have a relative or know someone who have a relative abroad so the idea of storing dollars, euros and yens for selling later is not, erm, foreign to them.

Crypto for me it is a part-time job. So I don't want to let my family know about this job. My family only knew my main job was as a programmer at a technology company. I joined the cryptocurrency because of my passion and desire to get rich. The money I earned from electronic money I sent to the bank to take care of the future.

It is not easy to provide information like you said about crypto, because until now there are still many who do not believe it. moreover we know that a year ago many projects failed, so it's even harder to explain.
but now that crypto has begun to improve, many already understand and try to participate and invest.

In my experience, the only people that would have problem with cryptocurrency are some of our family members that are not learned enough to understand the crypto technology, and then, even if they dint understand, but they will surely understand the language of money, provided you are bringing some money to the table and tipping them,, they will sure believe in your job if it has nothing to do with stealing, killing of defrauding people, because not everyone that you see here in cryptocurrency came with a clean heart.

I didn't see any reason why they should have any problem with it provided it is yielding you result and I am sure that by now, anyone that really knows how to work around crypto would have seen some gains that will be glaring to them and make them support cryptocurrency.

A good way of planning your future is to keep pushing forward to learn more about on how to enhance your chance to earn more than what you already getting, keeping your main job and let your family to be feed by the money you earned from it then every crypto you earned will be your savings for your future.

I don't really have a family and I don't tell random people what I do but those who know are curious and want to know more.

Most people think that if you're an investor or a trader working from home you're saying it because you can't get a proper job and that you're a lazy loser. I only care what my friends think so it doesn't bother me.

When I joined crypto, my family's response was very good and supportive because crypto could help my family's economy.
but they also always suggest or remind me to be careful using it even though they don't know more about crypto and they believe that joining crypto is the best choice to help my family's economy.
